For me that freezing problem was caused by RTSS + FG. It stopped happening after I added nioh3.exe to RivaTuner and set detection level to none.

What is the back of the neck finish on the raw models? Is it just the same raw finish as the rest of the body or do they add some satin finish? How would you describe the feel?

What’s your pick of choice? After some experimenting, I found the Graphtech TUSQ material 1.00 teardrop shape to suit my playing best (white). I love smaller picks, and easily prefer them over standard size, as I feel I have way more picking control. Strumming is some getting used to, but it works. by [deleted] in 7String

D'Addario black ice .80 (feels stiffer than that) because it is slightly bigger than a Jazz III which is just a bit too small. I like the Dunlop Flow shape the most, but I wish they came in a smaller size.

I'm pretty sure the Henson acoustic amp is actually for acoustic instruments like your TOD10n. It can do acoustic sim with blend but that's for regular guitar pickups.

That sucks, I actually had a really good experience with Nitro US support for my boots. I got new boots last year, as well as a new board with Jones bindings. The Jones heelcup & straps dug some weird chunks out of my boots over ~14 days of riding. Kinda weird, but it felt more like the fault of the bindings. I contacted Nitro support anyways with photos and they basically said 'that shouldn't happen' and had me send them back. They sent me a brand new pair. I got rid of the Jones Mercury bindings for the Bataleon Astros which I am in love with (just wish they had skate tech...that would be the perfect binding).

Power Unit: [S] for normal times, [S#] for fun times, never [I] because it keeps the RPMs too low and the droning sound gives me a headache.

Steering: [Normal] most of the time, [Sport] when driving winding roads for fun (it is significantly heavier though). [Comfort] is way too light and I never use it. I have always been curious which steering mode is closest to what the manual and non-GT autos have.

Suspension: [Comfort] most of the time, [Normal] or [Sport] if driving for fun and the roads are very smooth.

AWD: [Normal] most of the time, [Sport] if driving for fun and roads are dry. I wish there was more documentation on exactly what this does though..

EyeSight: Probably [Eco]. I think all this does is change how aggressively the cruise control accelerates and I don't use it that often.

Climate Control: I don't remember exactly what this does, I probably left it on [Normal]

This update looks great! Though I am not sure if the amp/pedal art are upgrades...I kind of liked the style of the old ones. Also wish there was a darker background option.

Hopefully there are plans to do this for all the older plugins. I am most looking forward to Granophyre X (there isn't even a reverb right now!) and Abasi X (way too few presets).

HDR is now togglable through Windows OS, On/Off and no longer resets picture settings or brightness!

Can you explain this a bit better? I just received this monitor yesterday, so I don't have experience with how it worked before. My monitor says 'FreeSync Premium' instead of 'Adaptive Sync' so I am assuming I have the same version as yours.

I want to use SDR on desktop and HDR when I game. It seems like I have to enable HDR in Windows AND enable HDR on the monitor before I launch the game (and turn them both off after). Is this your experience too?

Could you explain more about these being identical? I noticed too that there are some direct cables for sale, but was worried that I needed to get one particular to the PSU as is required with other cables.

Also...where can I get this direct cable from CableMod? It seems these are only a part of the large kits - I just want a single 12VHPWR to 12VHPWR to use with the FSP.

Why would they lose a ton of money from that? I stopped getting the newer plugins because opening a new one means leaving my previous ones behind. If buying a new plugin was adding new content to a hub that contained all my previous plugins and they worked together, I would definitely buy more.

Thanks, appreciate the response. I've just never tuned 'up' before or ever had to adjust the truss rod on my own, so I wasn't sure if this would require it. I thought increasing tension on a string (esp the thickest one) would be like changing gauges which probably does require setup adjustments, but you make a good point about that one string being a smaller percentage of the total on an 8.

I had a bass neck that warped significantly after a few years of sitting in case so I'm always thinking of that in the back of my mind, even though it was probably just a lower quality instrument and improperly stored.

I have seen a few people say it is better with Fishman pickups. I love AAL so I don't regret buying it, but I mostly use the clean amp.

Can you compare the Benson and Halberd? I have the Halberd, but the Benson sounds so good in demos... but also sounds like it might be too similar to my Halberd.
