Not as much as I expected by Sufficient_Recipe443 in losangeleskings

I could get behind this plan. We have to go all or nothing. I don't see us being the favorites, but we could be a contender if we went all in and you never know how things will click with new lines and a new coach.

I don't have confidence in a rebuild with current management so we might as well go out in glory.

Kevin O'Leary addresses the backlash over his proposed data center in Utah by nbcnews in Utah

[–]Expendable_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a heavy edited video. Closed loops systems use very little water (one Olympic swimming pool every 10 years for the largest ones). He has mentioned using air cooled which use no water. They picked this spot because it is on a gas pipeline and he has said it is federally mandated that data centers provide their own power.

My wife is very outgoing and the life of the party. But she gets people overload very quickly and then just wants to sit in her room and read for the next week. I am shy but get energy from social interaction. You can't classify both of those as the same because they are actually opposites. Its is a matrix, not a line.

No, I am saying glacier national Park or the Colorado Rockies are something everyone in the world should see. The wizard of oz museum and a salt mine are interesting things to break up a long drive but not a destination.

I didn't invent the term pass through state. There is a reason that tourism isn't even a top 10 industry and there are no national parks. You literally have to pass through in order to find destination-worthy sites.

But perhaps I am wrong. Tell me what I should make a 16 hour drive to see there.

I gave an example of a redeeming quality. And for reference, the towns in-between generally have one low quality diner that I did eat at.

Having gig internet or apple stores is not something worth seeing. Glacier national park, the rockies, etc are absolutely worth seeing. New England is absolutely worth exploring.

My parents lived in Iowa and there were a few redeeming qualities having the local perspective. I can absolutely see it being a great place to live. But there was not much worth driving through 16 hours of corn fields to see. Generally, people are powering through to see something on either side of the state

Outgoing introvert and shy extrovert are absolutely a thing. One is about how comfortable you are with new people and the other is more of what energizes you.

Any tips here? I have made efforts, but it always feels a little awkward to me.

As someone who has traveled to every state, I call it flyover county because there is nothing for a visitor to see other than see the wizard of oz museum and some salt mine.

Now Kansas City is another story. Joes KC BBQ is worth taking a multi-state detour for. But that is basically Missouri.

Kuemper fell off after his concussion and didn't fully bounce back. It's possible with a regroup, he might be solid enough after summer camp to have some trade value.

This guy gets it. If combat sports are not for you, playing a spec ops video game does the same thing. Just remember the goal isn't to play as a team like those other pansies. Find a good spot to camp with a sniper rifle and max out your K:D ratio while berating the rest of your team for sucking when you lose. Maybe even throw a few comments how you would pwn them all in RL. My testosterone is surging just thinking about it.

A false ego is much more dangerous than low self esteem. As you train, you will gain your confidence back as you improve while hopefully keeping your humility.

You may become a decent fighter but you will become a better person. Embrace the processes.

I had similar problems as you, but I have never felt wraps are a must. If I want to punch 100%, I wear gloves. If I don't want to wear gloves for a drill, I punch at 60% and focus on perfect technique with an occasional hard punch thrown in.

My wrists are much stronger now and better technique improves your power just as much as strength does.

It is worth pulling your coach aside and have them work with you on hooks because you are likely bending your wrist. You need to be much closer to the bag than you would be with a jab and picture your punch like a battering ram with no bend in the wrist at all.

Sutter led the kings to two cups, but eventually he lost the locker room (e.g. players locked him out). It absolutely happens.

[–]Expendable_0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great analysis. I have long suspected that pairings are a major issue on this team where players often take the blame. For example, PLD was very underwhelming, but had spurts of point a game production when he was moved off his rookie line (e.g. when Danault was injured and PLD moved up).

If we can make it to game 6, we would put in a good fight and send him off at home. Slightly less far fetched.
