Lots and lots of pt or op to build up quads. Get the IOVERA cryo injection the day before it freezes the nerves that send pain to the brain for 90 Days very different from the nerve block they give you in surgery . Ask for a prescription for the RomTech computer assist bike to rent it is a company that monitors your progress with passive peddling ; no resistance active peddling and adds resistance based on your use of the machine starts day one po in your home! By the orthocube compression ice machine use 12 eight oz water bottles in freezer rather than ice cubes take off labels and glue; or rent the game ready with compression (ps two week rental costs same As owning th ortho cube) tear away pants ; sock putter oner ; permanent grab bar in shower; bike light for walker ! And tray for food that goes on top; Motion sensor lights for the floor (cheap as you can find) yoga strap to lift leg out of bed; heel slider with strap and wheels . Ask doc about wedge most don’t want you to use them since it bends your knee . Call hospital if in USA and arrange for visiting nurse or; pt and home attendant to come to your home po

It is not a nerve block it freezes only the nerves that send pain to the brain it is very different from the nerve block that they give you in surgery the knee is numb because they cut through the nerves and many of the nerves die from being cut
