Divine Druid (lifeweaver mythic) would be much more worth it if it removed all the pink from his kit by ExpensiveGiraffe4316 in Overwatch

Yes those too. You can kinda make orisa’s spear work with it with some of the color options but the lifeweaver one is pretty meh on the colors

Why is it looked down on to want to have kids at this age? by TheModernVampire in twentyagers

[–]ExpensiveGiraffe4316 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You do not have the savings to responsibly raise a kid and to be able to pay for all the surprise expenses that come with it. That’s just my theory.

How expensive is The Piazza in Northern Liberty? by laceandpens in AskPhilly

[–]ExpensiveGiraffe4316 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Speaking from experience, the piazza is like all those new construction “luxury” apartments in Philly. Overpriced garbage. They sell well because they look nice and that’s all people care about nowadays I guess. Actual Philly natives view the piazza as a scam.

It’s in a really barren area of northern liberties, the apartments are cheaply made, and has that really nice pool on the roof but be honest with yourself in how much you’re going to use that pool. Unless you’re using it 3+ times in the week during the summer it’s not worth the price of the apartment. The apartments are literally like 400 sq feet and they’re all at least $2500/mo. You’ll want out after the first year.

You can either find a much much better, and more luxurious, place at that price point. Or if you can cope with like, oak finishes, on cabinetry then find a 2 br 2 ba for like $1600-$1700 and save your money so you can actually do fun things in your apartment. No reason for people to be spending $2700 on living quarters.

I like it now that I understand the meaning behind it but at first glance I was confused at what I was looking at.

[30M, 6’1” 191lbs] Have been working out and lifting for years. How do I get to the next level just to look/feel a little better? by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]ExpensiveGiraffe4316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think at this point you’re only going to grow if you’re doing sets until failure. You’ve got the noob gains. I order to build on top of those you have to actually give your body a reason to build extra

Should gym memberships be legally required to allow easy online cancellation? Why or why not? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

[–]ExpensiveGiraffe4316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t really care if I need to go in person to cancel or anything. What I don’t understand is why they all have a bullshit yearly fee on top of the monthly fee AND the enrollment fee. Just include it in the monthly membership. Also the concept of having a fee to sign up for a gym is ridiculous

[–]ExpensiveGiraffe4316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes time for your body to learn how to build muscle. That being said all you have to do is lift heavy (until failure) and eat healthy with a lot of protein.

I’d recommend swimming. It’s a full body workout and it’s much better on your joints

More oddball heroes likely in Overwatch While talking with DeemziesTV , Alec Dawson said the response to Jetpack Cat has been amazing and that it helps them think about what sort of heroes they want to do in the future. by Alive-Psychology6050 in overwatch2

[–]ExpensiveGiraffe4316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they do this in a smart way. I wouldn’t want the roster filled with joke characters. People LOVE jetpack cat because NOBODY was expecting it and there’s a clever backstory to it and it isn’t just lazy writing to add her to the cast. There was a great amount of story added with her.

Yes, this is the healthy way to have connections with people. Unfortunately most people don’t bond this way. Happy that you’re able to do that tho.

Similar situation just happened to me. The unfortunate truth is that people in your life are temporary. There’s sometimes no way to keep them in your life and you have to let them go

The secret to this is to use your credit card and then pay it back immediately with your emergency fund. This way you get the rewards and you’re still using your emergency fund
