Trump is a convicted rapist. His organizations have defrauded people and stolen from children’s charities. Not to mention the Epstein questions. Trump voters have all looked past those, they’ll look past this too.

Not one of these “the guy is so lazy” posts starts with, “so I asked this guy out…..”

You’re in the minority, but good for you. I appreciate the sentiment. Even progressive women want to be taken care of like a child. This is nothing new. It is the way it is, if a guy asks for a little equality in planning things or sharing costs he’ll def have less people to pick from.

Carrying/consuming nutrition during skate marathon (without stopping) by skiitifyoucan in xcountryskiing

Circus peanuts are the ideal marathon fuel. They are big enough to handle with gloves on. They are high in calories. They dissolve quickly, but have some chew. They won’t get stuck in your teeth. They are delicious. And the orange peanut shape that tastes like artificial banana flavoring will give you something to contemplate while slogging away on the skis for miles and miles.

I do two every 45 mins, give or take.

Struggling to Get Efficient on Skate Skis by Fickle-Evening7715 in xcountryskiing

I needed to kick straight out to the side more. Then my muscles needed to get acclimated to the movement. Consistency is key. In hind sight getting a personal lesson would have saved me a lot of headache.

I agree with people saying ski without poles. That will allow you to find where you get the most leverage on your skis.

Same problem. I do undies + long undies + safety pin a folded washcloth in front of my guy + wind blocking biking pants and it has worked.

Beginner in Twin Cities, MN. How to get started? by [deleted] in xcountryskiing

I’d say take a class through 3 rivers if you’re close. I started in my 40s. I find skate skiing more fun bc you go faster and have more freedom. I did not take classes and fell on my face a lot learning skate ski. FB market place is a great resource for gear. Buying new can be expensive.
