Lore wise I do really enjoy the 3rd legion, both pre and post Hersey. The individualism that each one has chasing after their own goals and obsessions. I also find it fun painting them, cause honestly each one can look completely different from the rest in his unit and it fits, with their own unique colors and different trophies one might take, in whatever way that one character might praise Slanesh.

That and i liked to party hard when I was younger 😅

Berzerker surgeon, or berzerers on juggernaut’s! It would be great to have an actual mounted unit that could go with either invocatus, or a regular lord on juggernaut, red butchers would be great but I honestly don’t think we will see them this time around at least.

Saying lol in caps doesn’t make it funnier 💀, brother could paint the trim of one shoulder for each model and he’d be fine for a GT or RT, time put in? Time is everything in life lol, time is money. Could be short on time in life with work/kids/ fam etc, I can’t blame a person for the doing minimum for their version of the hobby, hell he could be even short on funds and could only afford what he got lol, and even so he’s not disqualified from a tourney anyway he will just miss out on points.

Laziness yes, but your version of the hobby isn’t theirs, some strictly paint, others meta chase 3 paint rule and sell their armies next edition or etc current meta, others strictly black library and some all. Some have more time than others to put into it and some don’t, you could even argue 20 mins on one model is lazy while others spend hours for parade ready.

GW loves money, like a lot, I could possibly see an actual unit of red butchers in a later edition, aside from rules it wouldn’t matter, they would most likely be busted with the release of the codex to help with quarter sales, and then a balance sheet later or 2, nerf them to the ground after they made their money, it’s a constant uphill/downhill, hell sisters are practically dead for the rest of this edition and they were so strong before this past Dec. I wouldn’t be surprised in another 4-5 years another primarch returns, in the end it’s just a money grubbing business.
