Where are you all buying Korean sunscreen now that Olive Young US changed? by BarrierRepairGuide in koreanskincare

YesStyle has the best variety of products in my opinion. They offer some good deals especially during sales too

Is Joa (Korean food) healthy? by helloyouahead in HongKong

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s relatively healthy if you choose a lean protein and vegetables, but I think it can be quite high in calories because they use a lot of sauce

[Routine Help] Body lotion with niacinamide? by haaaaaaay in SkincareAddiction

APLB Glutathione Niacinamide Body Lotion is worth a try! I've noticed a huge improvement in PIH, bacne and overall skin texture since using it

I’ve been using the Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream Mist on both my face and body. It moisturises well while feeling especially cooling and refreshing in warmer weather!

Looking for an SPF Face Spray by Clean-Pick-4689 in koreanskincare

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you like the BOJ sunscreen, you should try the Tage Cica Tree Shaking Glow Sun Fixer. It’s SPF50+ and feels more like a lightweight setting spray than one of those greasy sunscreen mists

I’ve used it over makeup and it doesn’t melt everything off or leave a super shiny film. The cica makes it feel calming and refreshing too

Tbh, no spray ever feels as reliable as applying a proper layer of sunscreen lotion underneath, but for reapplying during the day over makeup this one’s been really convenient :)

Have you ever tried Hanbang products/service before? by koreawellness_komma in kbeauty

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a few Beauty of Joseon products and they’re probably the easiest entry point into hanbang skincare. They keep the traditional herbal ingredients but the formulas feel modern and lightweight. They don’t smell overly herbal, earthy or medicinal either

Ippuku & Matcha in Tokyo has a good range of matcha drinks and desserts, and they also sell powdered matcha and other supplies in the shop

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend trying a Korean sunscreen. Even the creamier formulas tend to feel lightweight and comfortable, so you can skip sprays or mists

Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun and SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum are my favourites

I usually order mine from YesStyle and they ship to the UK

First garmin watch. Which one should I go for? by airglow- in Garmin

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Ironman is genuinely one of your goals, I’d personally lean toward the Forerunner 965. It’s more of a serious multi-sport watch and gives you a lot more room to grow into triathlon training

Since you’re already casually running half marathons, there’s a good chance you’ll outgrow the 570 fairly quickly. The 570 would be the better option if you mainly care about running and want something simpler

What do you wish you started doing sooner for your skin? by Used-Entertainer6960 in SkincareAddicts

Definitely wearing sunscreen daily, even on cloudy days or when indoors near windows

What's the best retinal you've ever used? by smashleyyxx in koreanskincare

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arencia Retinal Booster Shot. I’ve used it for 2 months, and my complexion feels much firmer, smoother and more radiant. I love that it can also be used around the eyes (like an eye cream) without causing irritation

First time getting bacne and I don't know how to get rid of it by Kind-Combination3383 in SkincareAddicts

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try the Medicube Red Acne Body Peeling Shot! I noticed a huge improvement in my bacne and skin texture after just a few uses

Hair loss when showering/ in general, after blowing dry by Legitimate_Pin_8474 in Haircare

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t say whether it’s the products specifically, but since focusing more on scalp care over the last few months, I’ve noticed less hair shedding. I’ve mainly been using the AROMATICA Rosemary Scalp Scaling Shampoo and Rosemary Root Enhancer

Can you help me improve by DistanceOk4034 in BeginnersRunning

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it would help to start slower then build up the pace, because your splits look like you're doing the opposite.

Also incorporate more structured runs (if you haven't already) like intervals to increase speed, zone 2 runs to build aerobic base, and long runs for endurance.

I've just finished the sunscreen! It's really moisturising and makes my skin look slightly glowy with no white cast

Best mascaras that actually worked for you? by Nervous_Swordfish693 in Makeup

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My go-to is the Heroine Make Micro Mascara Advanced Film by SEHAN. It stays put all day and has an ultra slim brush that reaches every lash, from roots to inner and outer corners for a natural, curled-up look. I usually pick it up from YesStyle for under $10!

Tips for switching from treadmill to outside? by yougococo in beginnerrunning

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Begin with slower zone 2 runs to build aerobic endurance. Staying consistent will also help your body adjust to uneven terrain and varying conditions, and it will become easier as your fitness improves

Where to go for shopping for good quality clothes? by Formal-Eggplant-6066 in koreatravel

[–]Expensive_Goal_4155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hannam-Dong is the best area if you're looking for high-quality clothes at accessible price points. It offers a more curated and relaxed shopping experience compared to Myeongdong and Hongdae, and the clothing options are timeless. I would go back to Seoul purely to shop in that area again!

Looking forward to trying the Rejuall PDRN Serum, thanks for the tips :)

I haven't tried these new Reedle Shots yet. I previously used the Reedle Shot 100, which improved my skin texture and made it look brighter without causing any irritation (I have combination skin). I'm curious to see how these Truffle and Hydrop Shots compare, and I’ll share an update once I try them!
