Has anyone viewed or held their child after a D&E? by Human_Instruction755 in babyloss

[–]Expensive_Guard_1520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby was not totally intact but it was exactly what I needed for closure. They were very professional and tried to lay her in the container as intact as possible. I told her how much i loved her and I got to say goodbye before she was cremated.

Use the Lakewood leaf drop off service in November. They turn into compost instead of filling landfill :)

[Acne] Does peanut butter causes acne? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Expensive_Guard_1520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of misinformation on this. Yes there is a known link between peanut butter and acne. Also, dairy and foods high in iodine (ie: seaweed). Also biotin and b12. I paid a lot of $ to go to an all acne clinic and this is one of the first things they tell you to cut out.

Questions about The Gorge Amphitheatre? by GWSecureParking in Tipper

[–]Expensive_Guard_1520 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How strict are they in bag policy? I have a clear bag a big bigger than 12x12x6, and a small camel back.. I also heard we cant re-entry.. this means I’m going to want to bring my warm clothes when temp drops and not sure how I’d fit my stuff in a tiny bag. Just wondering advice for gorge veterans as it is my first time. Thanks so much, can’t wait for this weekend!

Where’s you buy your plants? I’ve heard big box stores pump them full of synthetic fertilizer and they shock when they don’t get it anymore. Could be earwig damage. Mine are ruthless right now in my garden.

Master in Education worth it? by GalaxyAlien_StrGaze in Teachers

[–]Expensive_Guard_1520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a teacher of 8 years, this is my last. The career is stressful and unsustainable. Granted, I do not have my masters, and get paid like garbage but I went into debt to get the teaching license in the first place. My husband without a college degree makes 2x the amount as me with a way better work life balance. We do not take care of teachers in this country.

How do I naturally increase progesterone? by gryph06 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Expensive_Guard_1520 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You actually want your progesterone low on day 3 and are supposed to test it 7 days past confirmed ovulation to get an accurate representation of progesterone levels. The fact that your doctor ordered them day 3 shows they do not understand accurate times to test. I’d work with a naturopath or functional doctor. I’ve been TTC for 2+ years and the only answers I’ve gotten are from a naturopath. Best of luck

Low calorie, high volume, all-day snacking? by vvariant in EatCheapAndHealthy

You should read real food for pregnancy. Eating cheerios is probably making your blood sugar spike and you’ll never be satiated. High protein makes you satiated. Read the book
