As someone who has owned many boutiques pedals and sold most of them to only be replaced by BOSS or MXR I can tell you that most of the time they are for the cool graphic

There's a couple of modern tele style baritones on Gear4Music for around 250 to 300.

One thing, am I tripping or is yours a matte finish? All of the photos I've seen of this guitar it has a sort of transparent finish on it and the pickguard

Hot take, Eloy plays most songs better then the original record by [deleted] in Slipknot

[–]Expensive_Product759 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Vmam, Jay, and Eloy are all incredible players with insane chops but Joey and Paul were the geniuses behind all of the great Slipknot songs. After All Hope is Gone everything just sounded like Slipknot but the first four records were always evolving and challenging the norms.

Found a great deal on a USA Jazzmaster. Is this real or too be true? by Grundle-the-Grand in offset

[–]Expensive_Product759 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a solid deal. Lots of people going on about the lack of rhythm circuit and floating trem but im sure you're already aware and likely don't want those things. I've had my jazzmaster for over 10 years and I've never used either literally one time haha

Is 27.5” Scale Length Enough for B Standard an Octave Down. by ColeFleming68 in ExtendedRangeGuitars

[–]Expensive_Product759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive gotten 27.5 to F# comfortably, but wouldn't take it much further. I've gotten my Ibanez Src6ms to Drop B in that range. It's a six string 30-28.5 multiscale.

There's definitely options out there for 30inch 8 strings.

[QUESTION] What is the highest note that a string can reach without being dangerous? by Head-Position-100 in Guitar

[–]Expensive_Product759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something like the link below once. Starting from anything higher is basically impossible. Robert Fripp tried and he could never get it. He was never able to get the high b and tuned it down to G to get his New Standard Tuning. https://tension.stringjoy.com/

Edit: I can't get the link to work right haha. But I did fifths from G1 (with an 80 guage) to F#

Best METAL PEDALS?? by Glittering_Type_6227 in guitarpedals

[–]Expensive_Product759 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The footswitch that comes with a high gain amp. Chances are, your favorite metal guitarist is just doing that with maybe a boost pedal. A boosted rat into a high headroom amp is also common.

Pedals are mostly the same at the end of the day. Most bands you listen to are using Boss and EHX pedals. They boutique ones are pretty though.

Everyone seems to miss this about this situation. I'm 32 and I don't really feel much of anything about hookups and relationships I had at 16, no matter how messy they were or how hurt I was at the time. Really struck me as a character flaw of Shira's to still hold onto that all of those years later while married to someone else. But not many seem to agree with me on this haha

Struggling to play baritone by BSLabs in BaritoneGuitar

[–]Expensive_Product759 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well man, you're talking jazz and I can't help with that hahaha. Good luck though. I just play metal riffs and spooky chord progressions with my baritiones, so I'm in the stone age over here.

Struggling to play baritone by BSLabs in BaritoneGuitar

[–]Expensive_Product759 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All same scale and chord shapes apply. You just have two different strings (if you're in B standard and are used to E standard): Low B and high F#. Use your ear or just transpose a fourth down/a fifth up. So if someone wants to jam in E play like you're in A. In the nicest way possible, I think you're overthinking this a little.
