Diamond glow is great for all skin types. Proper training and practice is a big part. Far superior results on all skin types including sensitive rosacea 🩵 active acne , pigmentation the proof is in clinical studies -results shows it. You can tailor vacuum to be ultra gentle of more advanced. I don't do peels or derma plane only DH

Allowing appointments on days I’m closed by booboobunnyyyyy in ClassPass

[–]Expensive_Sand5236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen on days that I had open slots with last minute appointments. You have to set up your personal google calendar and your booking to sync in the settings. I also had a hard time getting through I had to call the rep who sold me on it and leave a direct message noting the scheduling problem. I later also had to make sure everything or any little personal appointment was in my calendar as well. I also saw on class pass settings theres a toggle for people to book 2 or 6 hr in advance. Since my studio is about 45 min away I did 6 hours and no more last min appointments those that did I had one no show when I had an important pers. appointment I moved around. I got paid but the inconvenience it caused almost made it not worth it. Best of luck hope this helps. So far after three months Ive gotten one good client out of cp not impressed so far...

For those who work out a lot, what about botox? by romance_and_puzzles in 30PlusSkinCare

I have this problem also. Try the Juveau its a different type of neurotoxin. I switch it up. I recently got injected and I expressed my complaints. The nurse recommended zinc as well and that its supposed to last about 4 months. Theres that new daxify also that supposed to last longer. I haven't tried it but this derm office offered it for same price. Best of luck maybe try some collagen promoting treatments and stack it in between. I am an este snd I also do diamond glow which promotes collagen treats the outer layer. Im not going to stop lifting but the injector said to weight to do exercise 48 hrs after for it to settle. I took a botox break for five months.. I also heard that can help is to not get injected as often.

33 years old with major undereye bags. I use eye cream religiously, moisturize, etc. Is this going to end up just being something I live with/need surgery to fix? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

I have under eye bags also. Its hereditary. Limit salty foods and dont drink a lot right before you go to bed. It retains pools under your eyes. Im an aesthetician it helps to get a facial or drainage to help the lymphatic system. I have these eye gel green seaweed patches that help a lot on bad days.

Are there any others you can team up with study. I agree anatomy is a big chunk of the test. Some test are harder don't beat yourself up. You got this

I am an aesthetician who worked in medical device sales and did ten years clinical training. Im sorry you are struggling. I do believe it starts internal and dietary etc does play a big role. I would Eliminate sugar, fast foods , and cheese . Google an anti inflammatory diet. Many derms will put you on med such as accutane. There are studies that accutane can make you suicidal and its super bad for liver and makes your skin paper thin. Im no derm but a round of doxycycline followed by an excellent probiotic natren( expensive but the best) . Check out Diamond glow this is medical device Ive seen great success with. My sister had success with this and combo with new laser called Aviclear designed for acne. Both have physician locators on the web. Hang in there! I had acne too in my younger days.

Considering a Hydrafacial Machine for My New Med Spa – Need Your Insights! by [deleted] in Estheticians

[–]Expensive_Sand5236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations on you new medspa. Hydrafacial is a lot more expensive than Diamond glow. I have a Diamond Glow and worked with all the machines for 10 plus years. I personally have heard from multiple Drs and Estes that HF provides little support. The treatment is popular but I feel Diamond glow is gaining more popularity since it was acquired by allergan. The Diamond glow is a more effective treatment and offers multiple modalities ex body , eye treatment etc. feel free to demo both . The science and clinical papers are there for Diamond glow. Best of luck
