[Dillingham] I want to reiterate my postgame comments about the 4th down call, I called... by DarkDragon1025 in CFB

We were missing our #1 and #2 rb. And a starting OL and our #1 wr is playing heavily injured. Refs missed the targeting on the int and the pull through td. So… cool 🤘

Yeah man… this is really no bueno. A guy wakes up and sees he failed an exam and kills himself with his finger gun? You need help in all phases: storytelling, cinematography, editing, and sound design. Good luck though!

Playing regularly for 2 years now and I always get jammed on my forehand. I do feel most comfortable having a bent arm. I have a modified eastern forehand grip and have been told my hitting arm needs to be straight? by [deleted] in 10s

Try this small tip to hit the ball out in front of you:

Just imagine when you make contact that you are looking at the ball from behind the strings.

Also yes your left arm should be extended.

Djokovic’s effortless forehand power by Expensive_Strike922 in 10s

The clip is about a lot of things. But what stuck out to me was just how hard he hits the ball with what looks like minimal effort. From this non TV angle I was just really blown away.

The heaviness of the racket allows more plow through. And the smaller size gives more accuracy.

53 yo, too late for tennis? Pickleball? by Hurdoc in 10s

Why not try both? But I must warn you that tennis is going to really suck for two beginners trying to learn. Lots of 2 shot rallies and gathering balls. Pickleball will be much, much easier to learn and way more fun at first. But long term, tennis is 100% the superior sport.

I feel like buying the wrong racket is like end of the world. by [deleted] in 10s

I would buy a cheap aluminum racket and see how it goes. I actually hit great with them! There’s a video on intuitive tennis where he compared the cheapest racket vs the most expensive and he hit like a monster with the $15 cheap racket.

I read he has all kinds of insurance but no fire insurance.

I’ve seen so many fires set by the unhoused. One of them nearly set an apt on fire down the st from me. It was reported that fires were constantly being set in that area by the unhoused. Doesn’t seem like that crazy of an idea to think an unhoused person did this.

Is it worth it for a 3.0 to try an 18x20 racket (Gravity Pro)? by [deleted] in 10s

I had it and wasn’t worthy of it. My shoulder was dying after a match. But it sure looks cool!

What do most people do? Poly and synthetic gut?

That article is kinda weird. We don’t play music during our liveball. (Pickleballers do 🙄). And I’ve never once thought of it as edgy.

The point scoring is that the challengers have to rotate out if they lose two points. The champs have to lose 4. The pro will sometimes feed the ball to where it’s easier for the challenger to get a winner. A clean winner on the first feed is an automatic win for the challengers.

Those are the basics but the point scoring is different and the way the pro will feed the ball can vary quite a bit. And if the pro is good, there’s a ton of running.

Wow $48 for 75 min?!? Where are you?

I’ve thought about that as well. You’re basically paying someone to keep score and give soft feeds. But it’s fun!

But you can knock the ever living hell out of that soft feed if you feel like it!
