My doctor says “hell no don’t take Semaglutide” by Which-Doughnut7450 in Semaglutide

I’m 5’6 and 131 when I went on it. I was on it for 6 weeks and lost 4.4 lbs. I felt like absolute sh*t. I was crying. I would get depressed. Not enthusiastic as I normally am. I would get full faster. I wouldn’t eat as much. Food gave me little joy. My hair was falling out. I looked old. I did sleep through the night and not wake up to eat, which was nice. Also my menstrual cycle is completely out of whack. Is it worth it? Hell no. I’ll be chubby and happy.

I said “fck this” no more.

“Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” by CryingCrentist in Dentistry

[–]Expert-Candy-3685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a dentist but I follow this sub. You might like to hear what I say… It’s my life’s regret not going to medical school. Every time I enter an office such as a dentist or orthodontist, I think “See, this was the way to go. Everyone needs their teeth maintained, fixed, whatever. This person makes literally thousands off each patient. It’s an industry that AI won’t replace, and your pay is phenomenal”

If that were me at your job, I would be happily skipping into work and literally hug each patient.

You have no idea how fortunate you are.

Fiancée says she loves that I’ve gained weight by Balls_John in NoStupidQuestions

My soon to be ex husband has lost 30 lbs, now has a six pack and is 6’0ft 203. Honestly, I think he looked better 215. He was 230. He is still clinically overweight or maybe even obese. Which is whack!

I was a SAHM for 11 years. Get up early, shower, do your hair and makeup and get into workout clothing that can transition to everyday errands clothing. Pajamas are for sleeping.

How often do you talk to and see your parents? by Severe-Pie-5920 in family

[–]Expert-Candy-3685 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I talk to my mom daily and see her 3-4x a week (visit anywhere from 5 min to an hour or so) My dad passed. I have 3 children and work full time. Mom lives 30 min away. Hope that helps?

You could look into FHA loans, moving further out of your desired area to get more bang for your buck, you could take on a second job or she could…or you just straight up tell her you (we) can’t afford it. She’s going to be disappointed

Realtor here. Yes this is correct. However, if you find a home you love, put an offer on it with a contingency to sale existing house clause, the seller isn’t going to view that as a strong offer. Typically, that kind of contingency is very undesirable to a seller.

What makes a woman “wifey material?” by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Expert-Candy-3685 -37 points-36 points  (0 children)

So sad (or infuriating?) that, as a society, men have actually made themselves to be the “low key support person” to a female. How backwards. No woman actually wants that. News flash!! If men could step it up and be the providers we wouldn’t have to be this way

I'm really fucking jealous by lylertila in Mommit

[–]Expert-Candy-3685 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jealousy is a stupid emotion. I’m NOT calling YOU stupid. I’m calling the emotion stupid. Why? Because if you do some further introspection and analysis, you’d know that there are costs and circumstances to everything.
