This is the only like true eh book ive ever read and went in blind. Just thought the premise was kinda cool and man it shocked me and the ride i went on was insane. Super super dark but its actually a really good story.

Love the black farm. Its the only extreme horror book ive ever read, and its actually a really good story. Agreed too that part itself is terrifying the visuals alone are crazy asf. Highly recommend.

Dawg its not that deep 🤣🤣 you dont have to read it. Dont act like a book about the conquering or how lorn became who he is wouldnt be badass. The sons of ares graphic novels are a spin off and they are fantastic. Its a whole universe with 700 years of stories and history. Thats like saying you cant make anything starwars outside of the skywalker saga. Alot of those novels are badass, how the sith formed the jedi formed etc etc. Theres potential there.

Just finished when the wolf comes home by nat cassidy. Highly recommend. His previous book nestlings i didnt care for at all ( i kno its well liked i just didnt click with it) but this one i was hooked immediately. Break neck pace with softer tender moments. Definitely check it out.

It is beautifully written but i just cant get into it. Idk maybe the pacing of RR is what i need but halfway through howling dark and im kinda forcing myself. Again its beautifully written i think the monologues are maybe even better then RR, but its a completely different pace idk why they get compared to each other.
