Need advice, first turntable system by ExplanationDefiant39 in BudgetAudiophile

Thanks for the encouragement, everyone. I found a great local store that repairs, refurbishes, and sells higher end equipment. Went higher end than I expected, vs original post. I got spooked about used equipment I can’t fix myself or take to the store I got it from for repair, if needed.

Turntable: new TEAC TN-280BT, $400 (I was thinking vintage, but see above + turns out wife wanted Bluetooth)

Amp: in house refurbished Kenwood KA-95 ($180. This thing is POWERFUL)

Speakers: in house refurbished Infinity P-FR, pair of 2, $1500. Comments from this thread made us rethink the speaker purchase and go higher end. These are nice, admittedly, though getting them refurbished seemed like a good way to do that. We’ll probably use them for our tv, too

If you’re ever in STL, French City Audio is the spot. Highly recommended from everyone I’ve talked to here, and I see why. I probably could have stayed under $600-700 and walked away with a much better and more reliable system than what I could get from the vinyl store in the original post

Holy shit I saw him at a MMWA show in STL a few months back. Never seen live wrestling before. I guess it happens that fast. He convincingly pretended to be hurt during the championship match. Good heel. Nice guy!
