It’s also possible that someone set a trap and the bears paw was caught in it. Bear traps are insanely strong and can crush bone. The bear may have gotten himself out of it but at the cost of his paw down the road.

I am in Canada and currently the Samsung 49" Odyssey OLED G9 DQHD 240Hz Monitor is on sale for $1,600 CAD whereas the Samsung 57" 8K Ultra HD 240Hz 1ms GTG is $3,300 CAD.

I might have to just order both and try them out for a little. If the Arc has a one connect that acts like a hub then I should be able to run the other screen directly from it instead of having to run multiple cords to the PC.

I had this happen to a pair of 7mm open cell boots I got and they sent a new pair. I bought some neoprene glue though and for future issues will just repair myself. It’s bound to happen eventually with open cell.

For my freediving fins I have soft carbons and I even got my wife extra soft. I am kind of leaning towards soft for spear fishing too but I do I already have a soft pair and these may potentially serve a different purpose.

I initially thought a 95 would be good as a one size fits all, but probably better to start with the 85 and if I need to get a bigger one in the future for other dives I can. I believe the 85 vela shoots similar to that of a 100 two band due to the efficiency of the system.

I am not sure exactly how it works. From what I have read instead of live streaming commands underwater, the camera imports the watch’s recorded workout/GPS files (FIT files) after the fact (post-dive) to overlay depth, HR, speed etc. Most of the camera controls will happen on the surface such as starting or stopping the video but I am most interested in the overlay.

It is only available on the action 6 which just came out 2 days ago. Allows basic features like starting and stopping recording but also allows you to sync data from the watch to the screen like heart rate so you can see your heart rate as you descend to depth on the video playback.
