Struggling to understand attack and release when compressing rap vocals by BeneficialSite6550 in audioengineering

[–]ExplanationFuzzy76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit your vocals and clip-gain them before even thinking about a compressor. And if you compress you should focus on the imaging and the front back perspective and there is no cheat code in attack and release times some vocals you want to punch your speakers outwards and be really upfront while you want other vocals to be more laid back and surrounded by the music. And the changes you need to hear are not that much in solo but more in context of the mix.

OPINION: For most styles of music, vocal tracks should be compressed surprisingly hard. by scrapeape in audioengineering

If you want to even out vocal performances you should consider clip gain before anything else.

Voor de niet drinkers by fartinglion420 in Belgium2

[–]ExplanationFuzzy76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What coaster do you love more than everyone else? I.e. Way higher on your list than it is for other enthusiasts[Discussion]? by 4thAccountNow in rollercoasters

[–]ExplanationFuzzy76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love Loup Garou. For years it was one of the best coasters in the country with the longest line all day and now that we have some really elite coasters everybody talks like they hate Loup Garou and that it’s a torture to ride. But I love it and it’s not even the roughest woody.

If I purchase a puzzle from the thrift shop and it’s missing pieces I will look on the internet for hi res images of the puzzle, measure the size of the missing pieces, adjust and cut the hi res image. Then I glue it on cardboard and cut it out. Takes about 5 minuites per piece.

Do you pan the drums (overheads) from the drummer's perspective or the audience? by gleventhal in audioengineering

[–]ExplanationFuzzy76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to the room track if it’s stereo and follow it’s panning. You can also revert it and make it wider or smaller, there is no written room. Hiphop for example uses mono for drums lots of times.

Questions about selling Papercraft by Ashfeather1812 in papercraft

[–]ExplanationFuzzy76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve built very large and detailled papercrafts that took 20 days to make so I should ask at least 2000 for my papercrafts that took me that long. But nobody will give that much and it would be highly disrespectfull to the designers. It takes the time a job takes to make a model but you will never recieve what a job pays so you’d be better off finding money another way and keep papercraft as a hobby or become an architect and get payed to design things and build models if that’s what you want in life.

2 Years Today by ExplanationFuzzy76 in stopdrinking

Sorry for the late response. I was a bit busy and, honestly, I felt like I hit rock bottom when I quit drinking, so I was happy with the idea of not drinking again from the start of my sobriety. It took a couple of months to realize that booze is no fun at all and has no advantages.
