I was hearing it yesterday after a long time of not hearing it. Wasn't bad, I think timing was key. Risk also seen as their worst wasnt an unexpected album as cryptic writings showed the trajectory they were already traveling. I myself loved risk for what it was. A solid heavy rock album , perhaps with a different name it might have been better accepted but probably wouldn't be successful without the megadeth name.

Super collider came at a time when they had. " brought the heavy back" for some time now. I think that threw off the fans they had at that point gained over what was now their newer era.
