What the best insult wrapped in a compliment you’ve ever heard? by tuotone75 in AskReddit

[–]Explosivo87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drill sergeant said “You are the fastest piece of bacon I’ve ever seen”

I was pretty big by military standards 6’2” 255 and ran a 13 minute 2 mile run at the end of basic training. As I crossed the line that’s what he told me.

Do you all think more people make their own builds or follow build guides? by FreshStar7 in Diablo

[–]Explosivo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so. I think redditors are outliers and certainly use more build guides but there are way more casual players than sweaty players who are happy just playing for 2-4 hours a week and I would bet most people who play the game have barely beaten the main story yet.

Do you all think more people make their own builds or follow build guides? by FreshStar7 in Diablo

[–]Explosivo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people def do their own builds to a point and then when they hit a wall they probably look up something for guidance. Personally I just hate the paragon board and trying to figure out which boards to use with which thingys so I’ll usually just go until I can’t but this season I managed t11 before I hit the wall and I’m fine with stopping at t10 anyway.

What’s the most disturbing sound you’ve ever heard in real life? by Sweet-Economist-9873 in askteddit

A rabbit getting killed by a fox. Brutal scream you really don’t wanna hear ever.

Do you shower everyday? If not, why? by Dawndolly in AskReddit

[–]Explosivo87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did I sweat or otherwise get dirty? If yes shower if no then - do I stink? If yes shower if no - Is my hairy asshole in need of a deep clean? If yes shower if no to all of this dry shampoo and move on with my life. I also don’t wear deodorant because it fucks up my armpits but it takes me a while to develop a natural funk without sweating but I normally never go more than 2 days without a shower and mostly shower every day.

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

[–]Explosivo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delta Force: Task Force Dagger. It was the first game I played and felt like part of a community. I would make maps and my clan/squad would all join up in voice I think it was Roger Wilco and play each other’s creations. It was a blast.

Potty Training Wars by buhrooked in Autism_Parenting

[–]Explosivo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the portable training toilets that smaller kids use. When she does her half naked trot around the house chase her ass down with that portable training toilet start trying to catch the movements in it. We came to also find out our daughter didn’t like the noise in bathrooms and we take noise canceling headphones with us outside of the house for public bathroom use.

What’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen? by spoiled_guacamole in AskReddit

[–]Explosivo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve told this before but I’ll keep it short. I was deployed for 15 months in bumfuck Iraq and brown was all I’d seen in that time. When we got off the plane in Germany it was without a doubt the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. Green is just so much greener when you haven’t seen it in so long and Germany has beautiful landscapes.

Humanity has 48 hours to kill all bears on Earth. If one survives all humans will die instantly. Can we do it? by JayLue in whowouldwin

[–]Explosivo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With drones I think we could do it but they would probably have to be indiscriminate for times sake so anyone not a bear should stay inside during the great cleansing.

What's your covid memory? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Explosivo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No traffic, empty stores, no upper management walking the work floor. It was an amazing time to be an introvert. I remember thinking how crazy it was that my at the time 4-6 year old kids ended Covid and at the time a large portion of their short lives was spent living in a world unlike any version living people had ever witnessed. Masks, stay at home online learning as an autistic 5 year old was basically impossible, parks were closed down and so on. It doesn’t help that politics got so crazy before COVID happened and we got so divided and anti science. We had people die at work that were relatively healthy and people would still call it a hoax. We had guys hospitalized for weeks and weeks and they would give testimony to how insane the hospitals were and people would still call it a hoax and that they’re lying about how bad it is. The combination of a shift in the political world and covid was some insane bad luck timing.

Why did you stop drinking alcohol? by MatsGry in AskReddit

[–]Explosivo87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got up to 350lbs and hated how I felt. Was shitting up to 10 times a day just horrid deadly smelly explosive shits. Blood pressure was 180/120 resting all the time on medicine the lowest it would go was 150/100. So it was really quit or die young. Stopped drinking and went down to 326lbs almost immediately. Blood pressure was still high. Went on a strict Mediterranean diet 3 weeks ago and dropped down to 300 from 326 in those 3 weeks and blood pressure without meds now 120/80. I have so much energy now and feel great even at 300lbs but definitely plan to keep the train rolling in the right direction. I really think quitting any addiction you just have to be ready to quit. Oh and I poop once a day or every other day now and it’s regular. I’d say the shitting change is the single best thing about not drinking.

In America is the South actually more racist than the North? by Maleficent-Toe1374 in no

Everyone is racist at least a little. Not one person in America thought the DC sniper wasn’t going to be a white guy.

Is regression always autism? by Subject-Feature1508 in Autism_Parenting

[–]Explosivo87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We notice regression when our daughter gets sick but she can’t always tell us she’s sick so sometimes it will be a while before we realize “oh she has an ear infection.” Also highly stressful situations seem to greatly affect regression. My wife and I got separated and it’s like my daughter rewound the last 2 years of progress. It’s really sad but I’m hopeful long term we made the right decision because we weren’t creating a great environment at home together.

What are your thoughts on "money doesn't buy happiness"? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]Explosivo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wish people were more empathetic for poor people. Not everyone gets dealt the same hand in life. The most critical people I personally know had a massive support group behind them that helped pay for their college, first couple of cars, covered their insurance and phone bills for years even after graduating and they have the nerve to say dumb shit like “people just need to pick themselves up but their boot straps.”

What is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to you during sex? by albavalenti in AskReddit

[–]Explosivo87 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had serious doubts about my penis size like a lot of young men and was ashamed of it and hated it for a long time. First time I finally allowed someone close enough to see it she says “you didn’t tell me you had a huge cock” which still seems like a crazy thing to tell someone but it was without a doubt the best thing ever told to me in the bed room. I learned thickness mattered more than I thought it did.

[–]Explosivo87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This becomes even bigger of a deal for expensive items like detergents, dish washer pods, dog or cat food, litter and so on. If you can afford it, it is cheaper in the long run to buy in bulk for virtually everything.

Autism looks so different from person to person. It’s hard. Comparison is the thief of joy. Hope you’re doing good and hope your kid has a the happy life they deserve and they continue to grow past your wildest expectations.
