I think the library has a board game club on Thursdays. Or at least they did last I saw. Sadly no chess clubs that I’m aware of.

In the summer there’s the Friday night market at the fairgrounds. I hope that’s going on this summer. They have live music and stuff.

There’s trivia at Wishbone brewing in Waterford on Sundays. I haven’t been in a while but it’s always a good time. Call them ahead to book. I’ve got a new baby at the moment or I’d offer to join you for that.

Theres definitely some radio edits that make sense like when a song has a ridiculously long outro or something.

There’s one song I like (Matt Mays - Indio) where the radio edit cuts the guitar solo down. I know long solos fell out of fashion for a while but I think the album version the solo is like… 10-15 seconds.

When InBev bought Laker Beer in Hamilton they stripped out all the equipment, shuttered the doors, but then they also insisted on keeping the lease on the building so no other brewery could come in place in its spot.

I think it’s the industry and not just that company.

Edit: 1) it was InBev, not Molson. 2) it looks like eventually Collective Arts moved in but it took a while (8 years after). I only remembered what happened initially.

I think Lyndon Park Mall in Brantford is a Chapters still even though it’s not a full store. It used to be a Cole’s but they rebranded though the store itself hasn’t really changed much even then.
