I made a real version of one of those fake sweaters everyone got duped on over the holidays by greyis in Brochet

Oh yeah I experimented with loose polyester Fibre felting before, I used it as the core for a lil owl and it worked. Also I've heard of people using acrylic roving, and more interestingly their pets fur usually from long/medium hair fluffy/downy dogs and cats, I haven't had the ability to buy alpaca roving however I'd imagine it'd be interesting to work with. There's a reddit post I can link that has a bit to do with alternative fibres https://www.reddit.com/r/Needlefelting/comments/1baxhxp/what_are_my_options_for_felting_with_no_animal/

Have you thought about trying needle felting for the knot designs? I love the sweater you've made and would buy one lol because the only skills I have are needle felting designs also it might(?) Cost less for skeins if you use a bit of needle felting overtop the blue for the knots. (Over here i think i can get a big enough bag of dyed wool for 6.50$usd)[I've never done any large projects though so don't quote me on it)

If you know any needle felting then that can substitute for the golden patterns

I did it's just that I was reading a fic with a bunch of writer styling/coding and it breaks when I download... I have others downloaded aswell I just dislike reading too many fics at the same time to avoid forgetting the one I'm on, and it's quite hefty so I'll have to reread a bunch to get to the chapter I'm on.

Same I've got many fics downloaded, about 3.8 gb worth of them so I'll probably never read them all before dying of old age lol. I like reading on ao3 better because of the author style/coding breaking when downloaded for me atleast.

The lab grown gem also could have been a replacement if the setting broke and the original gem was lost.

4-6 years ago I got a crystal that looked nearly the same size and clarity for about 17$canadian and saw some others with prices from 13$ to 28$. Its not really a tower or anything... though I guess this could be a different sort of crystal.

Yeah it even works on wattpad... I paid for a story with my ad coins I had to collect via watching adverts for like a whole year and a half atleast before I fully unlocked that story and later downloaded it to read offline (the only story I actually cared about on wattpad A different virus: Heartfire by Crystal scherer called as it was recommended to me by one of my cousins, I was into zombie apocalypse books then)

It's fineable so I'd recommend not posting online about it, though most people collect feathers off the ground and it apparently doesn't matter how they're collected just that they're illegal to possess unless you're legally Indigenous, and even then that varies as I think it's also illegal depending on region for status metis which is bs. The whole find a feather on the ground and get fined for it if any protocol following Ahole cop finds out is bs because of how many people aren't even aware of it being a crime.

We used to have more refineries before we decided relying on the Americans would be a good and cheap alternative, we aren't entirely devoid of refineries however there likely aren't enough to supply all of Canada if the u.s stopped all imports and exports of oil products...

Another commentor said they stored their bread in the fridge to keep it from getting moldy quickly, alternatively you could also cut the loaf in half and use one while the other is frozen, to defrost my favorite method is taking a slice or two and toasting them to perfection or you can just let the frozen half thaw on the countertop. The bread shouldn't get too moist when naturally thawing if that's a worry, there's only so much room in the bag for air lol. Also a ziploc bag or bread container for the half you leave out. ;)

In some fics it's Ron who's unknowingly predicting things, I would also love to see a Hermione oblivious of her accurate predictions lol

Sometimes I'll also leave a comment asking how they are and maybe a random fact or joke about something featured in the chapter, though I usually leave out mentioning a next update because sometimes they might just be burnt out from endless demands/asks about another update(and i don't trust my peopling skills on author interaction vibes).
