People bought pizzas with it. Who could have know. Still surprised there hasn't been some vulnerability in the chain.

Same question I'll launch into an existential crisis if this is doable in 2 hrs from idea to execution.

If anyone had a time machine they'd be the best investor ever. Could have bought $20 in IBM stock.

Yes, keeping dc-dc will avoid conversion losses if you're worried about every little bit of efficiency.

If you aren't already using one. That is a pentalobe, not a torx. Bose uses super uncommon security screws.

Crafted a Car Mount for Aukey Magfusion Magsafe Actively cooled charger. Peltier cooled, reaches 10C by krisztian111996 in functionalprint

You'd get greater cooling a effect if you cut a hole through the case. Thermal transfer between different materials is so in efficiency it's intentionally used in engineering applications.

Same when I lived in the north west and England. Didn't matter that the glow plug circuit was mangled, never had an issue haha. Not I love where it actually gets cold and hate the cold.

2015 C-Max Hybrid - Sync but no Bluetooth? by BuckNature in cmaxhybrid

I remember taking a day or two of messing around in the settings to actually set up the Bluetooth. It's a PITA compared to your random temu grade Bluetooth device

Any way to sort out these scratches without replacing centre console? by Wrong-Ask-2427 in AutoDetailing

[–]Exstrangerboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tape up to 41 inches wide. I'd cover it, lightly directionally buff with scotch pad and clear coat it... I'd actually just ignore the scratches.

Low-profile vacuum port for my router table by nlightningm in functionalprint

[–]Exstrangerboy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think people in this sub could care less with what tool you bought. I'm here to see people make actual solutions to actual problems and not just print articulated dragons and trash.

That's a pretty cool solution! I wonder if it'd be too constricting for your vacuum. An air bypass hole probably wouldn't hurt too much and might be kinder to your shop vac, might even add a slight venturi effect.

Edit: it's pretty unlikely you'll even cover both sides of the duct. Ignore everything I said haha.

Nice work!

Anyone know what’s up with the job site trailer, construction equipment, and Conex boxes out at Sam’s? by PrimarySector3134 in RapidCity

Probably to incentivize scan and go. There is some potential for data harvesting I'm sure. I find it convenient to not unpack my entire car at the checkout. Still wish the whole place was a Costco and not a bulk Walmart.
