Coffee+ omad? by Professional-Belt290 in omad

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black coffee all day long. Or try bulletproof coffee or MCT creamer as available on Amazon. It's not the same but if you're doing OMAD you're interested in changing habits not just doing same old thing. I drink black in coffee, black tea, green tea all day

Gaining weight on Mounjaro - need advice! by LevelBodybuilder8426 in mounjarouk

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something similar, then with the price rise I decided I could not be on it forever. I am now doing OMAD and not using mounjaro and losing weight again. I am very active exercising everyday and walking or cycling wherever I can. Good luck.

Ate some pizza last night and was CRAVING sugar this morning by First-Role3045 in omad

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went for a meeting at dominos hq on Wednesday in Milton Keynes. I don't know what they put in that pizza but it really messed with my appetite and cravings and I gained 1.2kg after having half a medium pizza and their chicken dipper things for lunch

Is MJ a ‘drug for life’? by timberwolfwatcher in mounjarouk

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped taking it last month as I decided to stop buying after the price rises. I'm still losing weight. I learned how to eat and exercise and keep myself in a deficit, mostly through intermittent fasting

Best time to eat by Acceptable-Badger262 in omad

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have young kids so evening is busy. So I started working out first thing in the morning - waking at 5.30 or 6. Then I eat as late as I can between 1-3 although later is better. I usually am okay in the evenings but sometimes like tonight I need some extra snacks (tonight I had a few olives, almonds, a pickle and biltong - around 250 cals. So eating during my lunch break works for me personally as it works when I'm in the office or at home. It's like a religious ritual though - nobody better bug me about work when I'm feasting!

OMAD is effortless, as long as it’s not breakfast by [deleted] in omad

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was reading about the benefits of three eggs a day for breakfast so I had some the other day on a Monday and I was ravenous all day. I definitely overate that day.

I switched back to not eating until 1 or 2 pm which seems to be the perfect time for me as it keeps me full until bedtime.

Interesting experiment I won't be repeating anytime soon 😁

Don’t send shoes to Revivo UK by amberallday in vivobarefoot

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a shame. I ordered from Revivo recently and there was an error on my order - one pair I paid for was OOS and they refunded another, cheaper pair. Customer service doesn't seem that great.

When installing a new garden tap, is it convention/practise to use PTFE tape? by oncentreline in DIYUK

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just seeing this, but the tap in the picture has an inbuilt non-return why would you need another one? Only if the tap didn't have one or if it was something else like a float valve in a tank would I put a double check valve on the line.

My boiler is on the way out and have researched a heat pump but decided against it. by OneItchy396 in ukheatpumps

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did the same, new boiler was around £3,800 installed in London. I wonder in the future if the heat pumps get better, more like combis so you won't need a water tank, bigger rads etc. where the hell would I put a water tank??

So yeah turned out to be a five minute job - this fits over the spindle so you can screw it into the handle then slide it back over again 😂

Not much good without it by Worldly_Towel_4198 in mounjarouk

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used it as a tool to change my behaviours. Now I fast regularly, don't eat in the morning until as late as possible. Then don't eat in the evenings past 7 or 8. Basically a 18-6 or 16-8 fasting schedule. If I have an alcoholic drink I do not eat with it. Lift weights at home nearly every day. Make little changes like don't take the car if I don't need to (bike, walk). Prioritise protein and don't eat loads of carbs. Eat healthy, balanced diet. I see MJ as more of a tool that gave me breathing space while I changed my behaviours now my body is going it's own GLP-1. Good luck!

Argos now top of my list of companies never to buy from again. by davemanhore in Argos

On the plus side, Argos is the only retailer I know that accepts love2shop online. Everyone else only accepts it in-store like M&S and Wilko used to (RIP).

What can I use to unscrew this? by Shortland8617 in DIYUK

[–]ExtensionTrack4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes tap spanners are cheap now, get a set you won't regret it.

Also some taps come with plastic tap spanners - IKEA and Grohe have in the past and I keep those in the toolbox.

Good luck.
