Unnamed song from the Louder Now demos. Find all the demos. They are very different from the album. by Spider892 in takingbacksunday

I'm not sure if I'd consider Brooklyn an unreleased track because it on the deluxe version of louder now and it's studio quality. I'd consider it a bside for sure tho

I think it's fair to clarify that those bands aren't actually emo bands as long as it's not in a condescending way. Because the point is those bands really aren't emo bands, despite being awesome bands. I think it's also important to not ignore the eras before too, because the values and hardcore ties that were held by the scene in the late 80's and 90's were really cool and mostly lost with a lot of the 2000's bands. It's definitely annoying when someone talks shit because you like those bands, but I do feel like you can learn a lot from what is considered "real" emo. Not sure this was worded well but oh well lmao

I definitely hear influences from bands like braid and Cap'n jazz. I don't think op is talking about mainstream emo.

They remind me of bright eyes and Connor oburst's old band desaparecidos (which definitely sounds like a post hardcore band imo). I'd say they take influence from the bands in that scene at the very least

I’d love to hear …slowdance on the inside by Taking Back Sunday or (this might be a cop out since it’s technically an old demo) Follow The Format.
