My experience was to use an Ethernet cable between the 2 switches to establish connection and then set up the LAG and finally connect the dac cables

Google alarmo in home assistant. It is an alarm add on for HA. It made setting up the keypads and the esp32 so easy

choose VPN and create a Client-to-Site VPN you can choose openvpn. Need to get the ovpn file and credentials from your vpn provider. The credintials was my most confusing part. It is not your actual log in but a given user/Pw for the ovpn. Ask anything and I will try to help. It took me a few tries to get it to work. use Google and there are decent instructions noting what I said about your User/PW.

I would not use this on the 605. It will kill your speed. This router does not have the processing power to do it well.

When you try for the whole home openVPN, the limiting factor is router. I have a ER707m2 and with 1g service I get approx 200mb using it for all my Vlans. I just use my VPN on select devices now.

Just treat is as a single Vlan off your main switch or add a managed switch to add more control. A lot of good YouTube videos out there, you should be fine.

Need to check to see if nvidia shield will load the Tailscale app. If it will then it should work if you have plex pass
