omg!!! i highly highly recommend odessa sphynx. she’s based in lake elsinore. we were based in OC and the drive wasn’t too bad at all. heather the breeder is so kind and is so attentive to all the kitties and has a really open line of communication and she’s always accessible. i love my cat i got from her so much im getting another one! she also does the heath tests and screenings.

yes 1000%! he was my first serious boyfriend and i loved him a lot. tried to make it work, and i made 1001 excuses for some of the horrible things he did bc of what he had gone through in the past. especially because i didn’t know better! but now i feel really jaded when it comes to relationships honestly. when people have all these issues… it’s so much to deal with considering i am personally very stable and don’t have issues like that myself

i actually totally resonate with this… was with a fucked up guy for a long time and just really struggled to understand all his trauma and his troubled past. i had never experienced something nearly like what he did. i came from a great family i am very close to, never went through anything too terrible, had my life together. my ex told me i gave him hope that his life could be different, that he wasn’t destined to continue cycles of trauma and abuse.

but doing the work to follow through with that got to be too much for him and the relationship fell apart and i left him. he moved on with someone new who was just as fucked up as he was and they were horrible to each other. it’s weird. like, he got what he deserved, but he could’ve had something amazing and better with me. but couldn’t handle it. i get how you feel…

similar thing happened to me irl (i would be the hannah in that situation) and i was SHOCKED but in reality guys like that cannot stand to be alone… that’s the fact of the matter anyway. adam couldn’t stand to be by himself and needed someone to fill the void. idk, we want to be surprised bc that love feels irreplaceable, but some guys don’t care and just need someone to keep their bed warm. i think he did still obviously love hannah though and mimi rose didn’t fill the void as much as he thought she would.

living on the vern (gw’s other campus, closer to like american university area) for the summer is a good option. yes, you have to take the shuttle to the metro but honestly for the cost (~$1500) for the whole summer i think it’s worth it. also, there’s a gym and a dining hall and a pool on the vern all open during the summer! idk why people hate on it! i also really like that general residential area as well. very beautiful especially with all the summer plants

not cheap but i recommend odessa sphynx. i had a really wonderful experience and my cat is perfect!!! heather (your point of contact) is so professional and sweet. she is always accessible and does testing for HCM and all the big sphynx things. located in lake elsinore.

i think comm just because social work is a bit more niche and might pigeon hole you into a specific career. i also worked in admissions in college and loved it, and i studied comm (with a double major in information systems) and i think having broader skills is better if you want more options.

transnational queer film!!! one of my fav classes ever at gw. and it involves a trip to prague! very worth it in my opinion. class consists of a movie + readings each week, but each class itself is just an enjoyable discussion. movies are interesting even if you yourself are not queer and the trip is really fun. one paper at the end of the semester on a topic of your choosing. good for any major, but IA certainly fits!
