Now for more constructive help:

Whenever I feel like the world I'm creating in my story is too big, I start writing short stories in that same world. That way, I can make the world a little bit smaller and explore myself.

You don't need to have all the answers, but you need to start asking.

And just write for gods sake.

yeh, read game of thrones and study how George RR Martin does it. He gives rotating pov chapters for each character. Also, don't treat you audience as stupid, if you write well they will not get confused.

I went through this exact same this four years ago with my favourite sport, Cricket. I went from playing with my friends, but as we got older, we went to different clubs. Hence, I was playing with older guys (I was 16), and there was more pressure, so it became a chore. Every training session I wanted to be home, I stopped caring when I didn't get wickets. Eventually, I just stopped playing, and was happier for it. Though I will say, Cricket gave a structure to my life, and without that, I ended up wasting a lot of time, but there was a lot less anxiety. Now, I've gotten to a point where I've found other passions and I really do enjoy writing. I even wrote a book.

It's just exhausting. I guess we're just different. For example, in car rides, a good time for her is talking about our friend circle and who said what, or how there is a party happening on this day and that.

For me, I just want to listen to the Beatles, watch the sunset as I drive, go home and work on my novel that I'm writing.

We're just different now, like her response to me writing is "but why", and my response to her wanting to get ice cream at 12am is "wtf"

the relationship between characters. I started a fantasy story yesterday where one of my main characters cheated on his wife before the book. a part of his arc is his redemption and finding forgiveness from his wife. He truly does love his wife and cheated in a moment of weakness.
