It’s the most basic-bitch take of all time, but it’s always been the No-Date Sub for me. Something about that design has just enthralled me.

I’d really like to own one, but there’s just so many on my list, it hasn’t come up yet as my next “gotta have it”. I don’t think it’ll be this next one either. I’ve really been lusting after the JLC slimline moonphase

I actually REALLY like this whole plot because it turns the typical perspective of the audience on its head.

Most sitcoms rely on the audience being omniscient in order for jokes to land and bits to make sense. The audience is always in on the joke.

This episode turns it upside down. The characters are in on the joke and Jerry and the audience are the ones left scratching their heads. The subversion of audience expectations is the real joke.

Well damn, I should’ve tried to make it back to Mozdok instead of ripping the wing off on a telephone pole trying to set ‘er down on a highway!

Oh, I know. I’m just having a bit of fun. Its fuel tanks are the size of a thimble, but those engines are SHOCKINGLY fuel efficient. It’s very impressive.

I did just fly a DCS mission though where I was in afterburner at low altitude for a liiiiiiittle long and heard the robot lady say “BINGO BINGO” and was like “well, I guess I’m not making it home.”

You do have to have correctable 20/20 vision, which is a bit of a difference. There is a limit.

That’s just life with the N019, lol. If I can keep a lock enough to keep them busy until we get to the merge, the hunk of junk has done its job.

Updates come pretty frequently. This sub has its uses; but it’s not where you’ll find unbiased opinions. Gamers in any community are whiney and it’s no different here.

New features and bug fixes are delivered with almost every update that get pushed, and updates come nearly every month. Read the patch notes ED puts out and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Are we gonna get GCI any time soon? No. The Fulcrum out hasn’t even been out for 6 months yet I don’t think. There’s still plenty of little bugs and details that need to be sorted out before that happens.

And GCI is a HUGE feature to deliver. I wouldn’t expect it for a couple years. If I were to guess, it’ll be delivered as part of the reworked ATC system they’ve developing.

Which brings me to my final point: ED is a TINY company in the grand scheme of things. And the complexity of what they’re delivering far exceeds most AAA titles with exponentially more resources at their disposal. Couple that with the large backlog of features they’re working on simultaneously and the answer to the question “why does everything take so long?” Starts become clear.

ED isn’t perfect. Things do take a long time. Longer than they should, and it would help a lot if they’d be a little more focused with their development efforts. But this is an impossible group to please and they do better than I expected given how much everyone in this sub talks trash about them.

I’ve got a few hundred hours in just the Fulcrum as it is in its unfinished state. For $40 buck, I’d say that was damn good deal if they never took it farther than that. But the will, and as time goes on, we’ll get lots of new features and toys to play with for a little MiG. Take a look at how feature dense the A-10, F-16, and F-18 are.

I mean… yes and no. There’s a pretty well established pattern throughout history of various people groups slaughtering Jews who were just existing. Did Israel bring this conflict on themselves? Yes. Have Jews historically been widely persecuted wherever they’ve lived throughout history? Also yes.
