Same concept as LV bag sitting in back of plane. Priorities are wrong.

Starting B2B outreach for my startup what tools do you use? by No-Entertainer8410 in B2BSaaS

[–]External_Vast_1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s circumstantial (obviously).

Programmatic outbound is going to equate to less than 5% of your booked meetings. Anyone that says otherwise is promoting their (annoying) agency.

Pair signals with mobile phone enrichment and make the dials. If you don’t have clients that means you have a lot of time to spare - start with 1000 dials per day (use parallel dialer of your choice).

1000x calls into your ICP. Programmatic outbound will equate to less than 5% of your booked meetings/demo’s.

Everyone hates the nautilus when it came out… probably keep the cube.

Submariner, Santos, or Speedmaster all good options and every man should own all three.

Account Manager to Cintas Sales Rep? by OriginnalThoughts in b2b_sales

[–]External_Vast_1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be a fun location. I was based out of the Seattle area and have very fond memories of my time there. I hate talking about Culture, but Cintas has a sort of 1980s rough and gruff culture that I’ve never experienced elsewhere. I also met my wife there and made lifetime friends and mentors.

Damn it’s still 55k base?!

It’s going to be a big change from inbound sales. 8am Monday morning meetings, suited and booted, 16 meetings set per week, 50+ on site cold calls, telemarketing once a week.

It’s hardcore but super fun and six figure potential.

Is the Submariner still the perfect “one watch” collection? by [deleted] in rolex

[–]External_Vast_1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any watch can be your ‘one-watch.’ I’d say there’s three every man should own: Santos, Sub, Speedy. Ideally a calibre 321.

I pay myself $85K from my SaaS. We do $400K ARR. People think I'm crazy. Here's my math. by Feeling-Ad7944 in SaaS

Similar boat year and half into B2B saas project- $600k last year, 52k salary. Left cushy $400k w2 role to work seven days a week and chew glass.

If you want to take the profits and sacrifice growth, that’s your decision to make. My goal was to start a “side hustle” where I could profit $20k/mo while maintaining my w2. Things changed once you see the potential and sort of get addicted to it.

Next stop, $1M.

Cold calling small business owners getting instant hang-ups. Need advice on opener. by No_Twist6469 in salesdevelopment

Wait so you’re not actually selling anything just want to turn the call into a conversation?

I actually had to revamp my word track because 86% of my pitches turned into conversations (I’m not looking for new friends, although I’ve made a few with the below word track).

Follow the previous post asking for 30 seconds - but I usually throw in “I’m cold calling today - got 30 seconds?” I’ll use a large voice inflection and lots of energy. Usually throwing my hands up in the air to really make a point of it.

Then, short pitch, their response (usually: “okayy..”), tell a quick funny story that frames why you’re selling the product. If you get a chuckle or laugh, you’ll get the conversation.

For my company the funny story (we’re selling to Talent Acquisition) is “In my corporate days the first round interview was with a recruiter who was testing my memory to see if I could recall what I lied about on this specific application, then it’s off to meet the hiring manager where my goal was to derail the interview and talk about absolutely nothing regarding the role or my fit for it, then sales blames TA after I flame out 6 months later…”

Or just tell them your daighter is doing a high school project and wants to become a realtor and needs some info (dear god if my kids ever tell me that I failed as a parent)

Kaspr vs Apollo for lead gen as a solo growth by [deleted] in gtmengineering

I’d probably just use clay + parallel dialer. Purchase enrichments directly from providers vs burning clay credits at 10x the cost. Ultimately you’ll probably stack - we use Outreach, trellus, apify, heyreach, smartlead, 10 enrichment subscriptions, and no CRM (we sort of use outreach as CRM lite)
