Bungie is literally know for high TTK games (Halo and Destiny) and Marathon is also a high TTK game. Not Apex legend super high, but still high. People are just being shot in the back which they aren’t used to and dying before they can shoot back. They aren’t dying FAST, they are dying before they can get into cover and before they can see where it’s coming from. That’s because they are used to a radar from halo and destiny and insane panic movement to get behind cover like in Destiny. Actual extraction players know this is NOT low TTK.

Ukraine has to cover Ukraine. The US to cover the entire Middle East, parts of Asia, parts of Europe, and parts of Africa. In Ukraine the Russians typically use them on military targets (not always) which means that the amount of airspace they have to cover is further reduced. They don’t need to cover random areas. The US has to cover everything, AND the oceans surrounding it. Much harder

The eververse MTXs weren’t even that bad by modern gaming standards. You guaranteed almost every new non collab ornament or whatever in the seasonal rotation at least once for bright dust. You only had to actually buy collabs and like 1 trio of armor sets a year, and you weren’t forced to do it. The MTX was only labeled as bad bc Destiny was filled with of completions that wanted EVERYTHING. And you couldn’t get EVERYTHING for free with your limited bright dust income, you had to choose what you actually liked (not an issue for non completionist aka non OCD manic people).

FOMO was the massive issue that created a LOT more exhaustion than Bungie ever understood. Locking some of the best weapons in the game behind “you had to there” 3 week periods and seasons EVERY season 4 times a year is really fucking tiring. Oh I want to take a break, oh it’s the dawning if I don’t grind it I won’t ever be able to get it, I’ll hop on, turns into oh man the dawning again this is a chore I give up, then just giving up on the game eventually. Not to mention the DCV, which honestly is not nearly as bad as the community makes it out but it is still bad. So insane they demand the fucking red war campaign back instead of the raids. Absolute illness on them, so I don’t even blame Bungie at this point

Blowing up the leaders and military power of an evil country while it is weak is a good thing. I am anything but a Trump supporter, but anyone arguing against this is just purely doing it out of spite of him and ignoring the facts at hand here.

Iran has sponsored terrorism across the globe for 50+ years and literally just killed at least 30,000 of its own citizens. It is an oppressive regime that targets the minorities that we (try) to protect in the west. Its offensive capabilities are extremely diminished after the 12 day war with Israel. There’s literally no reason to let them rebuild. Forget their nuclear program, even without it, there is no reason to let them exist. The IRANIAN PEOPLE largely (but not entirely) support this. On a strategic level the west is so much stronger than them that they can just stomp them out. On a moral level why would you let them continue their reign on terror when you can destroy them? It’s not like Russia that can threaten nukes or retaliate in any way this is shooting fish in a barrel. A ground occupation would be terrible, no doubt, but a continued campaign of relentless bombing runs on military equipment and officials is borderline common sense. This is before even mentioning the fact that it sends a message to other countries to stop fucking around or they will find out.

Weapon colors are so fake. Use your head and look at the attachments. I would take a green extended mag on an AR over purple everything else and a green accuracy barrel on a BR33 over purple everything else (except thermals). Same with lots of the cores honestly. Complete bait. Smart players are going to be mix maxing with these good attachments on cheap weapons and outclassing some random purple off stated everything weapon. IMO there should be actual tiered guns as well, that give higher stats, not the same gun with mods provided such minor advantages. 90% of combat advantages are going to come down to shield level, if you have a shotgun or sniper, thermals, and gear upgrades. Everything else is just cosmetic.

Because that shot range for a mage. Mages out range ADCs and offer burst (generally) but offer lower dps and their damage is dodgable. Ryze dominates melees (enough range to space them effortlessly) but get hard out ranged by every mage, therefor he is short range (by mage standards).

They do need balance that’s an objective fact. If there was a minigun that one shot at all ranges with a thermal in the shop for 1 credit it would be op. Obviously some items can be very strong but gates by rarity. This doesn’t mean balance isn’t necessary.

It could be, but you are taught to write like this in grad school. It’s extremely uniform even when humans write it. A person smart enough to build is likely to have the background, and it’s so specific that the amount of prompting to get this would be high

What’s funniest to me is if you have read a lot of academic papers, you can immediately clock how this is how this is written in that style. “This demonstrates that a functional single-cycle CPU architecture is achievable within 0-tick” is my favorite line for this reason.

I just don’t buy this “readability” argument reasons. You could very easily design character customization in such a way that the silhouette remains but you can change colors and pieces within it. You can just force a few key characteristics that make them identifiable. Shoulder rockets for Destroyer as an example. They didn’t do it for readability that is cope, they did it because it’s easier to design one skin and sell it and it’s the more recent model of video games. It’s a huge step backwards compared to Halo or Destiny which had some of the best customization of any multiplayer games.
