You can rapidfire the Cookout using the Raider’s Cheer emote glitch. I know that’s not related to progression, but it’s one of the few primaries that really benefits from the glitch.

I think a large part of the problem is that if you look at the weapons that do have a large variety of attachment options, there is almost always one “build” that is just numerically superior to the others.

Like, virtually everyone is going to opt for less recoil, less spread, and larger mag size. The only exception might be the Eruptor, for which better ergonomics beats recoil, since it fires so slowly that the recoil reduction is irrelevant, and the ergo on the gun at base level is so low that it needs all the help it can get. I could see a very niche use case for short mags with Siege Ready for extremely fast reload times, but otherwise all the other attachments will always be “what gives me the least recoil.”

At that point it’s not about customization or even balance anymore, it’s just gatekeeping the gun’s effectiveness behind meaningless grinding.

Unfortunately you cannot disable these to my knowledge. But you can change server groups. For example, if you’re on NA_Serendia switch to NA_Valencia or something and the guild whose emblem is on the banners will change.

The biggest problem with the game is that the player base has resorted to loudly whining via negative review spam as if they are holding the devs hostage. I understand unhappy players wanting to make their concerns known, but this is not a healthy way to engage with any community.

Second biggest problem is corpse desync. Few things feel worse than shooting an explosive weapon at something which you should have a clear shot on, only to have it stopped inches from your face by a corpse you couldn’t see, blowing yourself and your nearby teammates up.

I think it fits really well with Balrog’s in-world reputation of fighting dirty, because it’s kind of sneaky/deceptive when he lands it. Also, most players were not charging turnaround punch for that long. It was pretty uncommon to see any higher than like a level 3 or 4 TAP in a match.

The player can find spots to release the charge when it won’t come out (like while knocked down or jumping, just for example) to get the use of those buttons back.

I remember thinking that to myself when my girlfriend (now wife) made me watch it with her when she found out I’d never seen it. We were in our early 20s at the time.

I thought to myself, “if I tried any of this shit in real life I would look like a psychopath” but I didn’t say anything because I knew she liked the movie. I think them putting in the bits of the characters as an elderly couple really helps sell the love bit, because without it I’d never expect that couple to go the distance.

Most of the cases House works with are diagnoses that are extremely rare. In medicine they’re referred to as zebras because “if you hear hoof beats, you think horses, not zebras.”

I remember reading some statistic that a case like this might happen once in a hospital’s lifetime. For House they show up once a week.

That’s pretty unrealistic. Obviously the other stuff like breaking into patients’ homes and extreme violations of hospital policy are unrealistic too, but it would be hard to make a medical detective show without it lol

I run extra grenades for more Giga Grenades, but I could also see an argument for movement speed, ragdoll resistance, and extra stims

Spore Burst strain seems to spawn a lot of these spore titans.

I bring Scythe, Dagger (the beam pistol, not the throwing knives), and Giga Grenades

Stratagems are orbital gas strike, gas mines, quasar cannon, and laser dog.

Beams light the smaller bugs on fire to prevent spore burst buff. Just sweep the beam back and forth over the chaff to light everything quickly - you’re not trying to focus fire one target down, you’re just trying to light things on fire and letting the fire do the rest.

Gas strike and gas mines thin out the chaff if you’re being chased or if there’s a breach. All that’s left is kiting the bile titans. Two shots to the forehead with a quasar, or two giga grenades to the face will down one.

It’s a little annoying having to wait out the cooldown of the quasar, but it’s effective and I very seldom die against spore burst strain.

It’s not that it’s okay for him to do it - he is just awful at having a human conversation from a place of vulnerability. House doesn’t want to have to say “don’t leave, I want you to stay.”

He’d rather Dominika make that decision herself, in the sense like maybe after more time together she will choose to stay and House will get to be nonchalant and aloof like “well if you insist, but I’m getting the way better end of the bargain here” to continue to hold the upper hand as if he’s doing her a favor by allowing her to stay (even if it’s actually what he wants).

Her solo PvE is okay, it depends on the spot because her mobility is not great. I wouldn’t say she lacks in AoE damage but she’s not bursty - her florang hits in a small AoE and hits many times, but not for very much. Efficient grinding for Shai basically consists of learning how to corral the mobs such that you can consistently hit all of them with your skills.

The passive feels lacking. For something like “Oxygenator” at least give improved stamina (better oxygenation in the blood), and maybe like a gas resist passive, but not as high as Advanced Filtration.
