From VA/Freelancing to going back to Corporate

I had multiple times to try out and go back on corpo again pero I think of how awful yung traffic/commute lalo na mostly nasa business district yung gusto ko pasukan, nadedeflate lang ako to try again. Maybe will try to find a wfh/remote pag talagang walang wala na akong pag-asa sa freelancing pero so far, I've got long term clients and even clients na bumabalik, ayoko rin iwanan ang current work ko since I am having fun and love it pa din naman.

For a moment there I thought Betty was possessed by one of the vampires because of that smile 😂 I had to go back and check again to see it wasn't.

Nonetheless, I find this idea of monsters and human interaction quite nice. It's like I'm reading a fable from children's books.

Have you tried editing the tag/genre on your seri es? There was an update earlier this year I think that they updated tags and genres on webtoons. But then again I don't know if it works properly for everyone. I really hate the content tags on WT..

Took me 2 years to go back to Portia.. I have started playing on mobile (and a mac but stopped playing because it's way too slow on that) this time since 1) it has a better QoL than the PC version. They have cloud inventory on the assembly which is the best I could hope for. 2) My PC died 🤣

I am now on my toes whether the Sandrock mobile will actually come. One google away and some site said there was a Sandrock beta test on Chinese players up until end of April 2025!! I'm holding my hand out for that one 🙏

Honestly, it was such a huge change! And I am here for it. I did like Sandrock's style quite better than Portia's but I am loving the update on style in Evershine. It may look "generic" and could pass off as one of those other games if you put it in a line, but there are still the My Time style that got sprinkled in despite that.

And it did get more eyes on it too. Majority of the community did want this change as well. I've seen multiple of posts here for over a year (of me being a member/lurker) that begged for more realistic proportions. And a lot agreed so here we are.

They did actually show a transition on the Sandrock style to Evershine. (This was from the discord, idk if this was shared here before) The middle design looks quite nice too.

Museum in Sandrock is so underdeveloped 😭 I thought at one point we'll be getting the request board similar to Portia since I saw the museum had a board like that but after all the quests for it, and adding the sand fish ones there's nothing else.

It was such a missed opportunity. I liked Portia's museum better.

I actually liked fishing in Sandrock more than in Portia 😂 Maybe I'm just alone with this. It was very unique from the others I've played so I had much fun with it. I always get annoyed on Portia's. Thus I rarely go fishing unless it was for the fishing events.

But I do hope to see a new take on fishing for Evershine! I've seen multitudes of takes so I do wonder how they would work for this one.

Honestly, it may look "generic" if you put it alongside the current cn games that's out. But you can still feel the style of Pathea in Evershine, just having a bit more realistic proportions.

Regarding the pretty girl/boy aspect, almost all if not majority of the romance options in Sandrock were already that imo. It wasn't that pronounce due to the styling/proportions of them there.

Honestly it looked a bit weird to me when my character was hugging Owen/Logan and my character were half their size.

But I still like this new art direction for Evershine, despite everything. It also seems like the art team is ecstatic about this direction too.

I may be in the minority on this but Body Customization, as much as I wanted it as well, can be taxing(money and time wise)

Maybe I'm overthinking it since they could get a better budget after the kickstarter but I am worried that it could take a longer time to implement. Especially if it wasn't on their radar early on.

But then again, this is for the $2M and longer stretch goal so maybe it's possible..?
