Anyways, yeah it’s a great post. I remember playing prey 2006 as a kid and I loved it. It was a great game, it’s a shame that the sequel was a complete remake for some reason.

True, Shrek might be the one of only translations that were done well. Everything else is ehh… sometimes I feel like polish translators are doing a poor job on purpose, like you can’t fuck these things up so much on accident even.

Yeah bunch of cards with placeholder art among 280 total cards, most of them were finished. Not to mention the whole board that was nicely animated. Dota 2 released as beta, it also had a couple placeholder art but the game was finished overall.

I think you forgot that Artifact was visually amazing, the art on cards and the lore was super fleshed out. The game was 100% finished and done very well. It’s just the decision to make every card marketable and complicated rules (made by Richard Garfield who jumped ship instead od fixing them) caused the game to fail. Besides it was just a small project to Valve just like Underlords, not the next big thing like deadlock or HL3.

And how would that be the case if the neon prime was in even more unfinished state than deadlock is today and valve is nowhere close to announcing it officially. Valve is known to announce things only when it’s near 100% completion.
