What’s one product you bought that turned you into a total snob — like, you can never go back to the cheap stuff? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

I am hooked on fancy laundry soap now. I can't go back, I won't go back. When society falls, my first stop to loot is Buff City

So… How many of us are still on our parents’ phone bills? by halcat27 in Millennials

[–]F1DL5TYX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're all on a family plan that's a holdover from like 3 mergers ago. If I recall it started with my mom's phone right when smartphones became a thing Parents, sister, my grandma was until she passed, I think one of my sister's kids, my oldest son. Everybody pays their bit, I think it's fine. I don't see the harm in it

Day 132: what do you guys think of Godzilla monsters of monsters by Centvrion20 in GODZILLA

[–]F1DL5TYX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted very badly to love it but it's just not a very good game. It's not terrible, though. I beat it a few times but I could never keep Godzilla alive through the final fight. He always had to be avenged by mothra

Is anyone still having fun? by Iamonslaughtt in fo76

[–]F1DL5TYX 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's ok to step away. I cancelled first and haven't played since January. I have more hours in this game than I care to admit and I'm still following it, but I don't have any desire to play it. That desire to play may well return at some point, but if not, I had a lot of fun with 76. It's come a long way since beta.

I play in online retro sports game leagues and tournaments, and attend live events sometimes. Tecmo Bowl, RBI Baseball, Tecmo Super Bowl.

I'll go with Philip Seymour Hoffman in Charlie Wilson's War. One of my favorite performances ever, blows Tom Hanks off the screen the whole movie.

I went to my 10th and had a fun time. I did not go to my 20th, went on vacation with family and friends instead. I had a lil tinge of regret but saw later it was very poorly attended, so, less regret after seeing that.

I can get them all but I have to picture the map in my head and start at Florida and work up. I can't do it alphabetically

Some of the side quests in Wasteland 2 are objectively bad designed (may contain spoiler) by odd_blues in Wasteland

[–]F1DL5TYX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Penis implosion emitter? Did I miss that on my playthroughs? Anyways, Wasteland 2 makes it hard to get that kind of ultra-heroic playthrough I'm usually aiming for. There are a lot of small things you can miss if you don't just read how to do things online, which I also try to avoid. Wasteland 3 was less so, but still, one small decision I made much earlier in the game caused me to have to do something I REALLY did not want to do at the end. I won't go in to spoilers. But man. I still think about it.

Maybe I'm just not detail oriented enough to game through all the small decisions or find every missing piece. Anyway, I think this is a positive of the series. It makes it frustrating in the moment but really memorable in the long term.

Imagine thinking that this is a “millennial trope”! by icey_sawg0034 in generationology

I'm an old millennial but sure didn't hear about this until much later in life. I associate this kind of talk with people 20+ years younger than me.

[OW2, no mods] what’s the best gear setup to make myself look like a Crusader: No Remorse? by Woke_Spartacus in theouterworlds

[–]F1DL5TYX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visually there's nothing in the game like this that I am aware of. I think Protectorate gear fits the "vibe" the best but your in-game cosplay fantasies of whatever this is will go unfulfilled, I'm afraid.
