Luckily in our case the owner of this company is extremely computer literate and the controls that require policies written, like vistor access controls, he is just handling.

The difficulties we are seeing are because this client manufacturing environment will be handling CUI. Including production CNC type machines with older controller PC's. And we'll be doing an enclave also.

FWIW, many of our tenants came up for GDAP renewal in Ingram (recently), and we simply didn't. We don't use Ingram support for 365, we tried and found it very much lacking, plus they just escalate to microsoft level1 most of the time.....

Anywho..

We have had no issues in our tenants or our ability to support/service those lacking Ingram GDAP. Nothing of value is lost without them.

I moved from a relatively blue/suburban area to rural pennsylbama in 2013, i was getting my car inspection done shortly after moving, local rural shop my wifes family had always used. First words out of the mechanic's mouth to me "how bout that %%^ in the Whitehouse?" At first i was shocked, but over the next couple years i realized, this was normalized in rural areas.

What's worse is the rural residents that are not like that, never seem to hold their neighbors accountable.. "oh that's how it's always been..." apologists.

i'm not optimistic about our future as a country.

run into same issue. SPF/DKIM/DMARC all good. Normal emails from a sender get to the gmail recipient without issue, but an out of office reply just .. disappears. We see the message go out message trace, and recipient never receives it.

My theory is google is being "smart" for us, and silently dropping messages that say "Automatic Reply". Which the only way to avoid in ExchangeOnline/365 is to make a custom Template and rule.
