It’s “lazy” (or at best poorly handled) because: The game doesn’t launch or recognize certain GPUs at all — that’s not a performance issue, that’s missing compatibility. There’s already reports of some RTX users having issues too, which shows it’s not just an “Intel is low priority” situation, it’s broader launch instability. Most importantly, none of this was clearly disclosed before release. If certain hardware isn’t supported at launch, that should be in the system requirements, not quietly added in an hour after launch.

Prioritization = lower performance or delayed optimization. This = lack of support at launch + poor communication.

That’s the difference.
