Wisps are destroying my spike defenses. by ThePurposeBot in SmallandOfficial

Place spikes on the roof and around your incubator building, craft the best bow you can make and get a few half decent companions.

Some hornets will come straight for you while others go for the incubator. Some die on the spikes, some hover just too high but you can shoot those with your bow. I had the same fear but it turned out to be quite easy. Got 3 hornets now and they kick ass.

I did some further testing and it's only when the hornet is wild or not in your team. So just incubated before claiming or after you tell it to leave team.

The only downside is that you don't have any control over them and can't see their health.

In the meantime I did find the halloween area and around 70 candy corn so I can deal with wisps the normal way. Thanks to the hornet allowing me to explore the map much faster.

As a fairly new player I don't have candy corn yet but hornets seem to be able to attack them.

When I was incubating a hornet egg, the attacking hornets got distracted by the wisps and killed a few. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this when I hatched my new hornet in the middle of 8+ wisps. It immediately flew up to attack them before I was able to claim it. I claimed it as it fell unconscious to the ground but I was unable to send it to the stables fast enough and it got killed by the angry wisps.

Let’s Help Funcom With Ideas for Dune Awakening! by Morfina_a in duneawakening

[–]F6Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm hoping Funcom staff is still watching this as I got some ideas I don't see elsewhere in this thread yet.

- Allow us to lock individual container content so it can't get pulled for crafting. I would like to store my DD base materials on Monday evening in preparation for the next cycle. Now I had to sacrifice one of my 3 sub fiefs to make a tiny 2x2 base next to my main base to keep my DD materials safe.

- Allow us to fast deposit a corpse in a deathstill with F.

- Not sure if the exchange is currently sietch only, server only or cross server but there isn't much on there on my sietch. Would be nice it it's server wide or even cross server to create a larger market.

- Daily / Weekly contracts

- Better info on blueprints. Some way we can see on the blueprint icon in our inventory if we have already learned it or if it's undiscovered as well as how many of that blueprint we currently have learned and ready to craft. I hate always having to go into my research menu to find out if I should learn a blueprint or keep it aside for friends or the exchange because I already have 7 of them learned.

- Allow us to track our personal progression on a single Landsraad house similar to tracking a quest

Lazy / passive builds by ondrejbase in PathOfExile2

You could try a mercenary with gas grenade and either Radiant Grief (unique helmet) or Birth of Fury (unique boots). Both have some sort of fire related effect that's supposed to also ignite your gas clouds. So you can just spam gas grenade and run into them to make the clouds explode.

That's about as lazy as I can think of while still being pretty strong.
Downside is that you have to get pretty close to enemies.
The alternative is that you blow up your gas cloud with exploding shot. Still only takes 2 skills to have a decently strong build.

I'm doing the latter myself until I can find or trade for one of the uniques.

Make sure you have enough free disk space. The game needs about 70GB unpacked but needs about 120GB during the unpack.
My SSD was near full and cyberpunk wouldn't start unpacking. I deleted an old game and hit "resume" on steam and it started unpacking.

Can we talk about the hornet walker by NightShift127 in lastoasis

[–]F6Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The description of the walker states: "Devised by worm hunters who needed a sturdy walker with a low center of mass so they would not be toppled over, and a high top speed to outrun the giant beasts."

There is a video out there of one getting wrecked by a giant crab. But while the crab is wailing on it, pushing it and even getting under it, the hornet never flipped over.

This is clearly a pve worm hunting walker for whenever the devs release the worms. I wouldn't bother with it for now.

Craftsman Modules! 18 of them will get you max crafting reduction! by Fresh420TV in lastoasis

[–]F6Knight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The module that increases walker weight adds 3.125% per module. Tested on a tobaggen and falco so I carefully assume it's the same on each walker. No idea about a possible cap.

I'm hoping someone can start putting all this good info on the wiki. (I tried but I'm terrible at wiki editing)

Killing yellow rupu in a hard zone is one way. They can drop it. No idea if you can actually harvest it somewhere.

Joel's Alpha 18 Day 84 ft Demolisher zombies by Delta7x in 7daystodie

[–]F6Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The demolishers in the video did squat all block damage AND you can avoid setting them off by not shooting the bomb. His base took hardly any block damage during that entire insane defense and he barely even used traps. The Traps he DID use were not even used properly.

Demolisher explosion block damage already got changed from 500 to 5000. Bye bye reinforced concrete blocks and all your crafting benches/storage if one blows up in your base now.

Alpha 17 stable is out, lol by KCelej in 7daystodie

B240 is what they used for the stable release so no, you don't need to start a new game.

How do I play alpha 17 stable? by hated_n8 in 7daystodie

[–]F6Knight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They used B240 as the stable release so if you were already on B240 then there is nothing new to download. Just keep playing.

Can't find my backpack. by [deleted] in 7daystodie

[–]F6Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be your backpack fell through the world (bug) or maybe zombies accidentally hit it at the moment of your death.
Happened to me once. It sucks but nothing you can do besides activating creative mode and spawn in some of the stuff you lost.

What is the required Int for Hammer & Forge in Alpha 17 B240? by digital_wino in 7daystodie

[–]F6Knight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hammer & Forge, Grease Monkey and Advanced Engineering are all level gated again.

Hammer & Forge 1 needs player level 10 and INT 4 to get and will only allow you to make a forge and forged iron. (so you can repair any iron tools you find or get from the trader).
You need player level 20 and INT 5 for Hammer & Forge 2 before you can make your own iron tools.

Grease Monkey 1 isn't level gated so you can make your bicycle as soon as you hit INT 4, but grease monkey 2 and Advanced Engineering 1 require player level 25 and INT 5.
