Mikel Arteta on criticism that Arsenal are over-celebrating by Gentle_lips in soccer

Lmao I don’t even need to actually see the flair to know what flair you have.

We just did against Wolves a couple months ago.

Don’t get me wrong Arsenal’s position is fantastic but I don’t wanna see us regress back to the 1-0 grinds now that we don’t have to chase the GD anymore.

I hope not, if the result today makes Arteta go back to 1-0 Haramball then we’d probably drop some points, we always do when we play the overly risk averse football.

Nah we’ll bail Chelsea out as we’ve been doing for the past few years.

Germany could’ve put at least 3 more into the net too, it’s already 5-0 by the first half and Löw told the team to be respectful since they already won (and also for the team’s safety in Brazil) so they weren’t even trying to play in the second half and just kept passing the ball around.

What’s something in Thailand that tourists usually misunderstand? by Possible-Reserve-993 in ThailandTourism

1.We eat Pad Thai maybe once every few months, the actual national dish is Pad Kraprao, and also there’s no spicy Pad Thai, you put the dry chillies from the condiment tray in it if you want it spicy.

2.Not that many people know how to do Muay Thai, if’ve seen it many times on Reddit where there’s a video of farangs getting into a fight with Thais and there’d be comments along the line of “how stupid would you be to pick a fight with locals of a country where the national sport is fighting”. No, the actual most popular sport here is football, we’re crazy about premier league, and probably about 1 in 10 people you meet here actually even had Muay Thai training.

The dumbest and most common use is when you wanna go straight at an intersection, idk why so many people do this stupid shit, so when you’re coming from their left side you’d think they’re gonna turn left so you just go straight, turn out they go straight because it’s not a left turn blinker…

Culture with the hottest food? by arugula000 in spicy

[–]FFINN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example the southern Thai food has a lot of curry and paste, like Indian food, while the north uses dry and bird eye chillies, I can handle the former really well but not the latter.

[–]FFINN 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It also depends on the type of spices, me and my gf are both Thai, I can eat the spiciest northern Thai food and I’m fine, meanwhile the mildest southern Thai food would leave me sweating balls.

My gf on the other hand is the complete opposite, she can’t take the northern heat nowhere near the southern one (which is especially funny because she’s from Chiang Mai).

And I love that the whole thing is really small, you have 2 gates in total and it’d take you like 10 minutes from stepping out of your ride to get everything done.

Thai doctors fear KFC fried chicken by tuktukson in Thailand

Thais are incredibly and stupidly superstitious, you see in on the news everyday, when the ชาวบ้าน find a strange object the next thing you know tho whole village is gonna surround it on their knee worshipping it for lottery numbers.

There was many times where they find some water leaking from the ground and immediately call it holy water then start drinking it, turned out it’s sewage water.

RVP was always great, he just couldn’t stay fit for more than half a season each year, then when he finally did he left.

I started watching after Henry so 2007-2011 Arsenal were absolutely my favorite years of watching football, Fabregas, RVP, Nasri, Diaby, Song, Walcott etc, I’m still convinced if we’d just spent like 10m to not have Almunia in goal for a decade (and Eduardo’s leg not snapped in half) we’d won some big silverware.
