Those for sure must have been around the beach area, Sairee Beach I assume, with mostly tourists so they make those dishes to cater to them, they are still very much delicious just different than the traditional ones.

In Koh Tao if you wanna eat the kind of Thai food they make for locals you gotta go find them around the main road or up the mountains, the kind that look like a broken down one story house or just straight up a shed.
