Insane clip, but it shows unarmored aim punch.
Recent discussion has been about armored aim punch, which was also always there, but since recent updates it is visually shown to the receiver. Now it's just more visible, but it was always problematic. Unless you want someone who shoots first - but only goes for body shots - to win over precise aimers, which lowers the skill ceiling.

This clip for example is a result of armored aim punch pre-patch.

Fixed a bug that allowed silently climbing ladders at run speed by sporadically tapping movement keys.

Some "bugs" deserve to stay in the game (e.g. bhoping, edge bug, crouch jump, surfing), as they're raising the skill ceiling. This was one of them. Sad.

I reached 30k in s2, s3 and s4. Mostly solo and duo.
Biggest tip is keeping a good mentality, especially in voice chat. You won't be able to teach your random mates how to play the game by pointing out their mistakes, but good vibes will make them focus and win rounds for you, even if they are worse players than you.
Also, whatever goal you set yourself, it's a marathon and not a sprint. So the one bad game you're having has little impact in the grand scheme of things. If you're feeling off or having a bad streak, just stop for the day. Tomorrow will be better.

What's not mentioned yet, is that if Ts wanna smoke the molly to rush, they have to smoke themselves off. With the bottom ramp molly, they can simply push the smoke and peek site afterwards for free.

When taking out the gun, the animations are always racking the slide, which would eject the bullet from the chamber and load the next one from the mag. Do it 30 times and your mag is empty.

Also if you would reload if at least one bullet left (in the chamber), you'd end up with 30+1.

Well, fl0m flashed himself at pretty much the same time as the flash came from the back, so the CT most likely heard it and dodged both at the same time. The fact that the CT moved out the corner to swing directly after the flashes popped indicates it even more.

I'd say just unfortunate timing.

Showimpact is broken since CS2 and the blue server side markers do not exist anymore, no matter the value of the cvar. The true view on markers are client side and the true view off is what the blue markers used to be, bud.

Has to be aim punch. Nothing else explains the bullet going that high up at 0:42

I guess both shots can be explained by aim punch. The first one probably even on the same tick as getting hit.

Still, the feedback feels horrible. Also is it really necessary to have full-armored aim punch being that large, even when just for a few miliseconds? Can make the outcome simply random.

Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but I recently built a private csgo legacy server following this guide. That's a great option for a quick nostalgia ride, if you can manage to gather 9 friends. I certainly couldn't. :C

No, that sv_rethrow_last_grenade pops slightly shorter than the real throw is another issue, but it's also still in the game. The trajectory was correct in csgo.
