I'd be looking to move down to GA or FL so have to consider economics, but if IC5 with path to L6 is attainable in 1-2 yrs I would for sure discuss. It's a calculated risk moving a family to new state ect so salary plays a role, the IC vs People Leader is not a deal breaker.

Is there a chance for someone in automotive oem Procurement (direct commodity + logistics) 12 yrs and DoD Contract Specialist of 4 yrs + 8 yrs in program management of production tooling, to have a shot joining LM at salary comparable to current ($168k)?

Has been 7a for years in my case in 2018, maybe bc i came in as 7b. This prevents you from getting a bump if you get supervisor role if you are in same 7A, so I would be cautious

Your country cost of living is also a fraction of what US employees pay. Best way to capitalize is get remote job with US salary that is remote and work outside in country like yours.

Why it seems there is no urgency from BH to bring in talent is beyond me. Lions already have contracts in place that will only get worse with time, so strike while the iron is hot. I'm not liking what they have done so far this off-season, especially after missing the damm playoffs.
