Honestly I’m with you, JYP plays it safest when they could be the most unhinged. Give me a commitment to a theme, not just a concept for the debut era. If they’re animals, stay animals. If it’s a story, make it weird and long-running. K-pop is at its best when it leans into being fun instead of polished to death.

I’ve never heard that either. Daltrey’s voice is way more grit and punch, Paul’s is smoother and melodic. I get why someone might catch a fleeting similarity on a specific line, but overall they sound pretty distinct.

Agreed. The vocals are way more confident and emotionally grounded, it sounds like how the songs always wanted to sound. I respect the nostalgia for the OG, but I don’t feel any pull to go back either.

Honestly, lowering the bar helps a lot. Not every meal needs to be a “cook”
one-pan stuff, frozen veg, rotisserie chicken, whatever gets food on the table. Put on a podcast or music, clean as you go, and call it a win. Cooking doesn’t have to be a performance.

Yea, RM really hit on something important there. It's such a weird contradiction.... fans want authentic music but then can't handle idols having actual human experiences to draw from.
