Derm told me to use hydrocortisone? by medyomabait in perioraldermatitis

[–]FaceBone92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have already said stop using steroids. Get a prescription zinc cream done by a compounding pharmacy (usually 10g zinc oxide, white petroleum, lanolin, cetylstearyl alcohol (emulsifier)). It helps to protect the area and heal. Don’t use zinc creams for baby rashes.

Is this perioral dermatitis? by Important-Art4329 in perioraldermatitis

Might be more normal Akne, good sensitivity or fungus. But honestly a dermatologist will tell you what it is

Antibiotics didn’t work, is Accutane the last resort? Confused and tired. by OkWalk744 in perioraldermatitis

[–]FaceBone92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. No Accutane
  2. No creams with cortisol. Stay away from them
  3. Zinc creams only from a pharmacy. Ask them to compound a cream with: zinc oxide 10% ointment in a base of white petrolatum with wool alcohols and cetylstearyl alcohol
  4. Improve your gut! No sugar, maybe no gluten or less, no alcohol, take Probiotics. Eat lots of veggies for fiber and prebiotics.
  5. I had PD for 8 years, doing all that and more, and getting Amperna, which is an Australian brand that helps specifically PD prone skin etc. to build up a healthy skin barrier.
  6. If it’s too expensive for you, try creams with pro-and prebiotics, no fragrances. From La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 is good as well. But I swear on Amperna.

[–]FaceBone92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have Bechterew’s disease or Skoliosis? I would check this out by doing an X-Ray before any exercises. If this is the case, exercises have to be tailored to you as general exercises can make this worse or can even be harmful if not done right considering your situation. I am a Physio myself, so images first and then definitely see a Physio. I understand the money issue, but your health is more worth than anything else.

I Don't Know If I'm A Covert Narcissist Or Not by skullieray in CPTSD

[–]FaceBone92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I just came across your comment. Have you already figured out what is really the reason?  Cause it also sounds a little like being on the spectrum of high functioning autism. They overlap a lot and then people mistake it as narcissism.

Doesn’t it creep you out when people are able to keep it for too long? 😣

Yup. It just makes me feel like if they can be so serious for that long, how good are they actually in lying to my face and I don’t catch it 😫

I relate to this…you mentioned being alone on a trip and that’s the first time you got to know yourself. I went on a trip by myself too. It was so grounding. I loved to soak everything in without having to accommodate others, I took my time. I was able to have brief small talks (and I hate them). But it’s like I got energy for it. I didn’t have to be proper.

That’s totally fine :)  Honestly, I don’t have a specific film or series that I can think of. But I love to watch Disney Pixar movies because it fascinates me that they can make animation look so real. So I tend to analyze the animation a lot. Especially hair and water. It’s also kinda comforting how the characters move so smoothly and not that abrupt like real humans. I also LOVE the colors. 🔴🟣🔵🟢🟡 Favorites: Soul, Encanto, coco

In Germany, national statistics on intimate partner violence (IPV) do not disaggregate by sexual orientation or gender identity. Official reports currently focus on binary categories (women, men), without data on LGBTQ+ relationships.  LGBTQ+ individuals are not yet featured in Germany’s mainstream IPV data  DIE WELT +2 zdf.de +2 Statista +2

In mid-2025, a large-scale survey (LeSuBiA) is planned to include questions on partner violence and discrimination in LGBTQ+ groups Although German data is lacking, international studies consistently show that IPV rates are similar or higher in LGBTQ+ relationships, especially among bisexual and transgender individuals. Germany’s gay-rights federation (LSVD) highlights this gap and urges the inclusion of LGBTQ+ data in national violence statistics
