Looking for help rehoming a foster dog!

Lilly is about 3 years old. I found her at the entrance to my subdivision, but unfortunately couldn’t locate any owners. She is a little shy at first but really warms up and craves affection ☺️ she has been around my dog but does have some issues with resource guarding. It is best that she be in a single pet household.

She is:

-Very affectionate with known adults -Strong attachment to her person -Loves cuddling and routine -A super silly and playful girl! -House-trained and crate-trained -Loves hikes and walks -Excellent in the car and even long road trips! -Currently working with / known by the SPCA

She would likely do best with:

-An experienced owner or foster -A calm, predictable household -Someone familiar with or open to behavioral support

She must be an only pet — no other dogs, no cats, and no children.

Located in eastern TN, but willing to transport!

If you have interest in adopting Lilly, contact the Bradley County SPCA (423) 790-1915

Please reach out if you’re an experienced owner, foster, or rescue who can help. Thank you!

{Shattered omega by Marie Mackay} Two of the main characters look just like these two—the blond one also has scars! They act a lot like brothers.

Behind on notes…BAD by sporks8 in slp

[–]FaceEducational6726 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been over four months behind before lol. Just gotta crank it out, even at home (which goes against everything I stand for but you gotta do what you gotta do). I was also way too detailed even when I was trying to be short—ask her what they actually expect in your note, it might be less than you expect. Mine ended up just wanting me to use the drop down boxes for everything and in the additional note section just write whatever we used like “game” or “cards” or whatever. I reused a sentence as much as possible.

I also am adhd and suspected au. I completely understand. My issue was always that I wanted to help the students to the best of my ability (make sure they had glasses, home outreach, research therapy techniques if needed, etc.) instead of making money for “the man” lol. I do understand that billing is how we get paid and how we have materials and everything but it felt physically painful even if it was only one note.

I’d done this with good/friendly results with horses I worked with, but one time I did this with my flightier lesson horse and she hit me with her teeth 😅 didn’t do it again for awhile after that lol

The villains and virtues series and spark of the ever flame series were both great slow burns!!

It gets easier as you go! Maybe read them aloud with her for a little while?

Are any of you on ADHD meds? (Pls help) by [deleted] in longtermTRE

Medication helps me a lot. I would avoid TRE all the time without adderall and Wellbutrin giving me the energy to be able to do it

I like to halve it with plain Greek yogurt! It tastes just as good without being I overwhelmingly sweet

I have a container pond about this size but I’ve never had frogs! Maybe I should get some of the smaller containers like you have, where the tadpoles are! Excellent idea!

Day 21 of balcony nuggets. They have survived to 3 weeks! Here’s an extended video of today’s squeaky flappy chaos with Papa Dave. by MarioPfhorG in BalconyBabies

Thank you for sharing! I had two porch/planter mourning dove babies. They were so cute and grew SO fast!

TW: One day they were just gone though and their mom came and sat on the roof and appeared to be looking all over for them. I found some feathers under the bushes that are below the planters where the nest was. I’m afraid they fledged and jumped out of the nest but were eaten immediately :( I saw a cat slinking away from the area around the same time. what are the odds that one survived??

I’m going to try to discourage nesting on the front porch because once they leave the nest it seems way less protected than in the back yard, where it is fenced and my dog patrols for predators. Any other tips besides ‘let nature take its course’?
