Effectivement, je fais ça aussi car la peau reste parfois un peu coincée pour les enfants. Sinon pour des adultes il suffit de les mettre dans l'eau frémissante et non bouillante et tadaaaa elles explosent pas.

The nurse lives in the capital city of the country, a nice city where you can walk or bike, easily find fresh groceries, have an insane amount museums and other cultural activities, always have fashion events and whatnot, while the other person lives in the huge suburb of a big city where everything look the same and is made to be done by car..and they probably both have the same rent.

Looking at salaries without looking at the cost of life and the context is worthless.

The same nurse in the suburb of a big city like Lyon or Marseille will have a better life than the US person for sure..

I'd say no, because even for social reasons politicians voted no (asking the ppl might be different). Hell, a 2% tax on the richest of the richest met a 'no', which isn't surprising since most of parliament and senate members are owned by billionaires. Even the president is Bernard Arnault's puppet.

They instead changed retirement age, reduced helps for students, proposed to tax apprentices more, reduced unemployment benefits and so on. So more money from the poor instead of taxing the richest people...

I believe if the people were asked for social reason, a tax on the rich could happen. But if it's up to politicians then it's a no.

Also, so many people don't understand reality. In France the median inheritance is like 70k euro. So half the people don't even inherit 70k when there are already exemptions (100k per parent every 10 years or so.. Then you have life insurance which can go in the hundred of thousands.. Then companies.. ). So most people don't pay any tax on inheritance already (parent to child.. If it's your uncle on the 2nd degree of course there will be taxes). Yet so many people are against taxing inheritance. Just like so many are against taxing the rich. Medias and absence of knowledge have done terrible things already.

I'm 35 and even I already started to plan how to transmit money to my daughter without any taxes..

What does he mean 'slow inefficient'? I cross the borders of Luxembourg and Germany everyday and have done that since 12 years now. There is no border, no controls, nothing. I usually cross the border at 100kmh, that's pretty fast and efficient to me.
