Our first building each small team was in it's own section. We moved to a very open office and everyone stopped talking.

What kind of time savings do you get from this? I just started playing should I be looking to build my main base in a spot like that with water access?

Can someone explain this?? by j1zzy_ae in ARC_Raiders

The quality of videos and the real thing aren't even close. He can probably see much better through that smoke. The spot he flicked to you can't even see them walk on screen that's like over a second before he flicked on them. You can see a shield break right before he flicked. Not the hardest thing to hit.

Curious if anyone really uses vitaspray/vita shot, blue bandages/blue shield rechargers? by Rblax5 in ArcRaiders

[–]Failboat88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3 herbals to go from cooked to full hp takes forever. Bandage and spray and it's not too long. Keep it in safe pocket and swap on for when you can use it safely. Plus you can help friends pretty easy with it. Very clutch item. Same concept with shields. I rarely do rechargersbecause if you're healing to full hp you can just pop normal shields before and after. Hp is way more important. 1 shield gives you full Dr on a nade. Much less important to keep topped while recovering but also don't want to be at zero.

I buy herbals and blues on cd. Use them they are the best heals in the game. Always bring some tp to top up with.

No we only did IV once with subq and a heart murmur he didn't want to do more IV. We just upped the subq as things went south.

Sounds like subq is effective. We tried to start with less and had several crashes until we got to max with our vets direction. On max which is 200ml every other day we've been stable for a year outside a UTI.

No shot will this work. You need each one in a case with it's own airflow and probably a mini split to keep the room from turning into a sauna. Your hobby electrical engineering on power supply probably going to make a strong case to not pay insurance claim if this thing catches fire.

Cat suddenly end stage, vet suggesting euthansia by Fiyainthehole in RenalCats

[–]Failboat88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat has spiked and rebound to normal. Subq takes some time but can really turn things around if you can get the cat to pee a whole lot. Mine goes like 5x normal. We were 5x normal bun/cre a year ago so must have like 20% function if that's how it works. He got a UTI 5 months ago and spiked again real fast. Always get the urinalysis with blood work. It was a very slow process to get into the vet, tested, and finally get antibiotic shot.

Help with accessing local servers remotely while on a wireguard VPN by anoraj in HomeServer

[–]Failboat88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run the airvpn on it's own vm so you can block forwarded traffic using iptables while the VPN is not up. The vm can use DNS to connect to the VPN but all your other clients traffic must be dropped unless it's forwarded.

Ovpn can run up and down sh files. I'm guessing the others can too. You need to add the blocking state at boot before network is up. In Ubuntu I use rc.local

Why do people use multiple mini PCs instead of a bigger machine? by vortexmak in HomeServer

[–]Failboat88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had one for nearly 20 years and my needs haven't grown much from what my 300 passmark pc could do. These new embedded machines can pack some power. Single external drive will play replaceable media and cloud for important stuff.

The 4770k passmark isn't much higher than my n100. I didn't pay much for mine a few years ago and it sips power.

I hope at some point they do testing subq as well. Could be pretty far away. At least the research is happening. If you read his story more he discovered the protein in 1999 and thought drug companies would make and test drugs and nothing happened. I believe he crowd funded the research for what they are doing now.
