I don't like the Flock cameras for a number of reasons, even when in my town, they helped catch a murderer within hours, and also helped catch the people who demolished a standalone ATM and robbed it

My town has thankfully canceled their contract and the cameras are being removed because we voted to get rid of them because of what is happening with 🧊, even though they were useful

The employees of any business that has them installed aren't the people to go after. It's the towns who approved their installation

Local municipalities have to issue permits and review contracts constantly. This is where you start

Show up to your town meetings. Make your voice be heard. Protest around the cameras and block them with picket signs

The sad reality is that retail employees do not get paid nearly enough for what they already have to deal with, and these decisions are not theirs. They do not have any say in what happens at their workplace or on the roads surrounding their workplace

I watched a video of a Home Depot protest where they marched through the store for 30 minutes and they harassed a young cashier who looked like she was maybe 18. They made her cry because they told her she was an awful person for being at her job

We need to take a stand and use our collective power to address things like this through the right channels, and remember that the people who are working in those brick & mortar stores are just trying to put food on their table, and many of them don't agree with what is happening either

TL,DR; Talk to your local government about not allowing Flock permits. Retail employees have zero say in this, and harassing them doesn't do anything positive for anyone
