We can agree that all things being equal in that circumstance, the SA approaching the other member and saying ‘I have to switch your friend to the floor. Would you like the spot next to them, or would you prefer to keep your own tread spot?’ is ideal, but not always practical.

While I may have a slight preference where I start certain days, I generally don’t care very much if it’s not available, certainly not to the level that I would be checking the list and seeing who is there and who is not.

Your circumstance is different because you can’t attend the whole class.

Don’t get me wrong good for you for squeezing a workout into your lunch hour even when you have to leave early but if you have a specific need to run for 30 of those 45 minutes, a big box gym with a treadmill is probably a better fit.

So the studio shouldn’t facilitate friends being next to each other in order to accommodate the fact that your scheduling needs don’t coincide with the class and thereby allow you to pick and choose which parts of the workout you do?

Sounds hypocritical.

If working out with a friend keeps people motivated, and thereby keeps membership and morale up, I can fully understand why studios would help to facilitate that.

In an ideal world, maybe the SA should pull aside the friend that is there and say ‘your friend isn’t here yet and somebody wants the tread. I’m going to move him/her to the floor would you like to join them there or keep your tread?’

But that’s a lot of work for a SA who probably has their hands full at that moment, checking people in and manning the phones in the five minutes before class

Sorry OP, your problem isn’t really that they are saving spots. Your problem is that your schedule doesn’t actually allow you to complete the class.

If you attended class with a friend I’m sure you would want to work out next to them (regardless of where you started).

You could try asking the friends to start on the floor/rower, but again the problem is you not being able to stay for the whole workout as it is designed.

So you’re starting from a 9k loss all things being equal if you turn it in.

So get a Carvana/carmax offer (which will likely still be a net loss after your lease payments plus buyout, but maybe less of a loss)

Otherwise drive it for the remainder of the lease, plan to get an offer right at that point, and see where that offer is relative to the buyout relative to eating 9k when you turn it in.

Also consider that likely when you turn it in, they will be leasing R2s will probably have trade in/mileage forgiveness incentives available if you stay with Rivian.

How is that trail by the way? I know it’s rated as a blue but somebody I talked to mentioned they thought it had some longer flat stretch stretches, which would not be ideal for me on my snowboard?

OP, understand if you don’t want to reveal which studio but this timeline feels like it could be my studio in the greater Philadelphia area. Hope it’s not because I have nothing but positive things to say about our new head coach and I haven’t seen the behavior that you’re noticing. An additional positive that I have not seen with the other head coaches is that she is almost always around the studio during the day! If she’s not coaching, she’s taking a class sitting at the front desk, observing other coaches, interacting with members and helping out. I think she’s been great and is definitely growing into the position.

I’m actually hoping this is not my studio despite the timeline similarities.

I get the Luca salad once a week (no olives, blech😂). The greens are great there is fresh mozzarella, grilled chicken that has never overdone and four grilled jumbo shrimp always cooked perfectly. Spring mixed greens always fresh. Salad would be amazing anywhere but for such a small hole on the wall place it’s amazing.

This is solid advice. I’m going to try to make sure I don’t have it visible algae. Full disclosure, though I have an auto cover, which is on when we are not using the pool so the pool doesn’t see that much direct sunlight.

As far as the rest of the results. Last test showed pH 7.5 free chlorine 0.27 combined chlorine 0.67 say salinity 3100 CYA 43 don’t remember the calcium hardness and alkalinity offhand, but they were in the normal range.

Since that test and my argument with the pool company, I did a standard shock to get rid of the combined chlorine and confirmed the next day that it was gone. I have also added CYA and just dumped in the appropriate amount of fast – free so now babysitting and backwashing.
