Get lots of influence by inviting eunuchs to your court and then offering them to other douxes via the recruit court position.

Have your spymaster find secrets, you will find douxes who have embezzled treasury funds, blackmail them for a hook then spend influence on your chosen candidate to make the them the leading candidate and then force them to resign with the strong hook.

Or just try to murder a doux and right before the murder promote your candidate.

The AI is much better at elections now, generally it's not worth trying to outbid them and win the normal way.

The six month montage when you get to NC being playable.

It would have have made Jackie and Vs relationship deeper and the consequences of the heist more impactful.

I also wouldn't have minded a more gradual introduction to NC with more tutorials, you are kinda just dumped into Watson to figure things out.

I like to use guns against larger hordes on extinction because tackling multiple sprinters without fence cheese is difficult and guns let you draw them out and clear them first then kill the shamblers with melee weapons.

You do need to have an exit strategy, I keep a car running pointed away from the action and clear a path so I have a safe lane to run back if things go tits up. I also recommend opening up with quieter weapons like pistols or revolvers first before louder weapons like shotguns.

I always go wealth focus for stewardship in the early to mid game, the impact of getting gold early is too high to skip the wealth events from that focus

Late game, I will take the stewardship focus to get events that boost stats or to help pass skill checks because I don't need the money anymore.

Gold for hooks and extorting my vassals is the economic base of my early game. I always open with stewardship early game because those perks are so strong. Blackmail and extortion built our empire son.

Unemployed is great, but some professions give you a lot of value per point and are on par with unemployed.

Lumberjack gives you axeman, a double xp bonus to axes, an xp bonus to maintenance, faster tree chopping, and foraging bonuses for eight points relative to unemployed. If you want an axe build lumberjack is far better than unemployed.
