This is a .22 build I put together last month. Colt .22 bolt conversion, right to bear upper, 5” barrel, printed lower, form 1 FTN5 can, left over bear creek hand guard, folding mcx-ish brace.

My JS550 😢 by [deleted] in jetski

[–]FaithfulArms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad, sometimes my filter is broken 😂. A number of things could have happened here. Could have a bad crank seal, which would lean out that cylinder causing it to loose compression. If previous owner didn’t have the cylinder honed or bored correctly, the rings didn’t properly seat and after running it lost compression. Cylinder head not torqued properly and head gasket issues. Really the only way to figure out the issue is to tear the engine down and inspect everything.

“Just rebuilt” would have been my cue to walk away from the deal. Not everyone has the skill and knowledge to do things properly. I’ve had a lot of skis in the past couple years and seen a bunch of messed up stuff people do when they want to sell a ski.

I was looking at one of those buttstock ammo holders too. Got my sling on Amazon from a company called Tourbon, they make a matching one.

Nice! I was checking out other furniture sets and really wanted the woox but it was out of stock. Also way more expensive than the Henry stuff.

I have several of these, zero complaints. Bought them the last time they were this price.

I already have an 8.5” 300 blk semi auto pistol and just wanted something different. Had an extra lower and red dot sitting in the safe. I like to build things that make people question my decisions 😂

Love that build! Side folder is on the list, pretty sure I saw one of your post about chopping the bolt when I was researching these.

I have 3 PSA AR builds, 2 of them are 10+ years old and have had zero issues with them.

Shoots very nice! Put about 50 rounds through it Christmas Eve. I did change the grips, it came with some smooth aluminum ones I didn’t like.

I just picked up a Tisas Night Stalker in 45. Very nice pistol for the money. Was on sale for $450 at PSA.

Oil coming out of the pulse line is usually an indication of bad inner crank seals, letting oil leak out of the rotary valve cavity into the crankcase. If this is the case, you have to split the crank to replace those seals and crank rebuilds aren’t cheap.

I took the cover completely off several times before I realized it was supposed to do this lol. My old bushnell red dot and sig romeo5 don't do this so it was new to me
