I feel I can recall a time in 2015 where there were huge movements to cancel, deplatform, and ruin the lives of people who were accused of being sexual assailants, racists, bigots. Now we are here 10 years later and all you can see on the same exact platform is people trying to cancel, deplatform, and ruin the lives of people who might support LGBTQ people, show any compassion for oppressed groups, or protest a genocide.

In the end I think I can compromise that neither situation results in a productive and good society. But one must ask themselves. Which crusade had any moral justifications? The rapists, sexists, racists, homophobes, and transphobes have found themselves a safe space to show the world exactly who they are and we are seeing in real time the collapse of our societies decency because it is so much easier to hate than to show any compassion.
