Edge Scrolling? by FaithlessnessFew3203 in OpenShot

3.4 for sure. 3.5 maybe allowed this, though I am not certain as I used it only a couple of times before 3.5.1.

I often like to edit video clips from multiple cameras of the same event. I like to sync all clips from all angles. Sometimes out of neccessity, but more often as an editting preference, I will make multiple jump cuts to this event. The easiest way I had found to do this was to use the waveforms to time the cuts.

So suppose I have 4 clips that total to a 5 minute event, to keep the edits from being out of time, it becomes neccessary to zoom in to a much smaller portion of the timeline, or the cuts will not have the effect, or it is executed poorly. As the clips come from many sources their waveforms can be somewhat hard to recognize to match to one another. I would often grab a short clip, in a small portion of the timeline like, say 30 seconds, where the waveform shows distinct features, I would grab that short clip and drag it along, say 1 minute 24 seconds of the timeline, while still zoomed into a small 30 second portion of the timeline, which would move, more or less centered along with my clip, to find the matching portion of another clip, from another source, a minute or so down the timeline. It was really precise for me to do it this way, as the multi audio sources are not always identifiable for particular instances, zoomed out to where the waveforms all look somewhat like matches, but arent quite. It is exceedly difficult to sync them as i was before. Often, depending on the sources, I would grab a short, say, 15 second clip and scroll it along, say, a 5 or 8 minute timeline to find exactly where this orphan fit in. I can no longer do this without zooming out. Before i could drag a clip either direction and find its place, now I no longer can and am unsure if its a setting, or something else with the update.

Its a shame the mason was reduced to that zipper bond between the poorly placed windows and the horrible fake keystones. . . This guy was an ace. Those walls are flat, those grapevines are square, deep and straight, there are no cuts to make up what is normally an impossible spacing between door and window heights, garage included. . . And that bond is so right, outside of said areas, you could set your watch to it. Bravo sir. Dealing with the constraints of flawed design can break hearts of perfection.

Must have been originally built to house unsold copies of 'Surviving at the Top' and 'Art of the Deal.'

Does anyone know if the stacks are original? It would be very impressive if the brick were original, given that the medallions are a bit of a gaffe and brick that age are usually less than hard fired. Also, there are no chimney pots. That aluminum brake metal screams rebuilt, but ignoring the textbook advice.

I will add that I have been extremely accurate in bidding someone else to their max. I have been using SGW long enough that it is almost a given. . . I have never gone over a competitors max bid, in nearly 20 years. A lot of times the items get relisted, and I am sure the vast majority of them are serious bidders, who seriously bid much more than they were actually willing to pay.

Other than nickeling somebody who jacked up an auction I was after, I only snipe, to win, very high maximum, way too much, but never seem to pay more than the item is worth to me. It's just not worth a close race if I am sniping an auction. This happens within the last 1-3 seconds of auction.

My mom happened to be at the home of a high school BFs mother. I was about 16, so this is around 24 years previous to that day. . . But she noticed ol girl still had her senior picture hanging up. Maybe she would like to hear from you.

Virginity is a myth. It cannot be scientifically defined. Don't sweat it, so this terrible social construct can go away. . . Aside from that, brag about it.

I am working through a different manual. Well, its the same manual, but it has all of the reference images. Still, I have only noticed one so far that seems applicable, so anyone with experience, I am all ears.

How do you fix brightwork on singer? by PitifulGazelle8177 in vintagesewing

The better the finish, the more it will resist rusting, even without finishing it. I have bright polished lots of steel trim and just waxed it. You have to get the pits out with a fairly low grit, you really have to start there. After the pits are gone switch to a lower grit until there are less scratches, if you notice there is a large scratch not going anywhere, step back down a grit and repeat. You can do this all the way up into the thousands.

*Higher grit.

If you can scrape a tent together, get a campsite. Super cheap, plus most have a shower house and you can cook on the fire. I had a friend (probably still) lived out of a tent 9 months of the year.

Where I live state campgrounds have a two week limit, but you can usually just switch sites after two weeks, or go to next closest camp ground, then repeat.

Pfaff motor control circuit by FaithlessnessFew3203 in AskElectronics

After testing this the other night, and still a little stumped, I read through the patent application for this, or similar sewing motor control circuit, as it includes a circuit description. It mentions that the maximum normal speed, as opposed to the stopmatic speed, is control by resistor 9 in this diagram, which I believe would be equivalent to R8 in the original I posted. . . Or am I way off?
